Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! (13) May 2

Welcome to Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! The Holy Scriptures: What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me? I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of LORD. I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people. (Psalm 116:12-14) I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD. (Psalm 116:17) In the courts of the LORD’s house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD. (Psalm 116:19) O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever. (Psalm 118:1) Let them that now fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever. (Psalm 118:4)

Call to Worship: “Reign, Jesus, Reign! You’re the King of Zion, Judah’s Lion. Reign, Jesus, Reign!” LORD, I desire to experience the manifestation of Your presence, for I have come today, to lift You up, and give You reverence. Help me to feel Your presence anew, like the refreshing morning dew, as I pour all my love on You. A“Here I am to worship. Here I am to bow down. Here I am to say that You’re my God. You’re altogether lovely, altogether worthy, altogether wonderful to me.” I come before You boldly. There is none else so holy. I honor You with unfeigned praise, from the very depth of my heart. Receive it, LORD, today; receive it, LORD, today.

“With my hands lifted up, and my mouth filled with praise; with a heart of thanksgiving, I will bless Thee, O LORD.” I cried unto Thee, O LORD, and Thou hath heard my cry. Thou hath lifted me up. Thou hath placed my feet upon a rock, a solid rock. Thou hath blessed me indeed. I have tasted and seen,  that You are good; that You are gracious. O that men would praise You O LORD, for Your wondrous works unto the children of men; for Your goodness and Your mercy; for Your lovingkindness and favor; Master, Savior. In his times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, The King of kings, and Lord of lords; Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; Whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.

Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare. As the music plays: LORD, You are holy, You are righteous; my deliverer, my strong tower, the center of my joy! There’s nobody like You! Thank You Jesus! I say hallelujah! I worship You today! Praise ye the LORD! Great and mighty is our King!

Feel free to share a song of worship, a praise of thanksgiving, a Psalm of praise and worship, or whatever the Lord speaks into your heart to share, in the comment box. Please join us next time, for another Praise and Worship Session! Worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness. Like raindrops falling from the sky, rain your love upon Him today!

    • It’s always wonderful to see the worshipers visiting the page! It is always my prayer, that all will experience the presence of the Lord, while here! There is victory in our praise! Yes, we come to worship Him, but it’s awesome the way He blesses us, when we worship Him from our hearts, in spirit and in truth! There’s nobody like Him!

Ann, I am so blessed, truly to join in the worship experience, because our worship is for real! Praise God! Enjoy His presence today! Wonderful lyrics to this song! Thank you for sharing!

      • God bless you, Minister!

Right after I posted this, I received some very disappointing news. Of course, it felt like a soccer punch and I did cry, but in the midst of the pain, God gave me a song! I came back to share it and found your lovely comment.

        • That is one of my favorite songs. I enjoyed the array of Scriptures throughout the video. However this Scripture stood out to me, and I wanted to share it with you. “Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee; he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.” Psalm 55:22

I’m really sorry to hear that, Ann. I thank God for the comfort He sent you through song. Thanks for coming back to share it here. May the Lord work all things out for your good, soon and very soon.

          • Thanks, Minister.

He never ceases to amaze me! Thanks for the scripture 🙂

I promise I will come back and share the testimony. He is indeed working it all out for our God.

Praise the name of the Lord!

Others may not always get it but the freedom He brings makes me wanna dance indeed! I’m going to ‘throw my hands up’ and dance for joy before my God!

  4. This is Life – Laura Woodlay Osman

        • Praise God! Yes, Caddo, even when our vocabularies fail us (and your poetic vocabulary is vast), when we lay our tears, our thank yous, and our hallelujahs at His throne, He receives them as an offering of thanksgiving and worship unto Him! He’s that kind of God! Thank you for sharing. Love, Paulette.

    • Most welcome, Pastor J

  6. Wednesday Worship

In the morning, I pray with angels
On the shore of His splendored sea
    Together, we sing Him songs
    Our joy-filled praises, across Galilee
    Jesus—we lift His Name High
On living waters, His Spirit shines.

In the evening, I pray with angels
As the sun sets His glorious day
On fragrant breezes, our songs still carry
Sweet adoration, to bless His Name
    Jesus—He never leaves us
    Our grateful hearts ever proclaim.

His praise shall continuously be in my mouth.
My soul shall make its boast in the LORD
