Welcome to Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! The Holy Scriptures: What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me? I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of LORD. I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people. (Psalm 116:12-14) I will offer to thee the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD. (Psalm 116:17) In the courts of the LORD’s house, in the midst of thee, O Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD. (Psalm 116:19) O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: because his mercy endureth for ever. (Psalm 118:1) Let them that now fear the LORD say, that his mercy endureth for ever. (Psalm 118:4)
Call to Worship: “Reign, Jesus, Reign! You’re the King of Zion, Judah’s Lion. Reign, Jesus, Reign!” LORD, I desire to experience the manifestation of Your presence, for I have come today, to lift You up, and give You reverence. Help me to feel Your presence anew, like the refreshing morning dew, as I pour all my love on You. A“Here I am to worship. Here I am to bow down. Here I am to say that You’re my God. You’re altogether lovely, altogether worthy, altogether wonderful to me.” I come before You boldly. There is none else so holy. I honor You with unfeigned praise, from the very depth of my heart. Receive it, LORD, today; receive it, LORD, today.
“With my hands lifted up, and my mouth filled with praise; with a heart of thanksgiving, I will bless Thee, O LORD.” I cried unto Thee, O LORD, and Thou hath heard my cry. Thou hath lifted me up. Thou hath placed my feet upon a rock, a solid rock. Thou hath blessed me indeed. I have tasted and seen, that You are good; that You are gracious. O that men would praise You O LORD, for Your wondrous works unto the children of men; for Your goodness and Your mercy; for Your lovingkindness and favor; Master, Savior. In his times he shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, The King of kings, and Lord of lords; Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; Whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. Amen.
Unto thee, O God, do we give thanks unto thee do we give thanks: for that thy name is near thy wondrous works declare. As the music plays: LORD, You are holy, You are righteous; my deliverer, my strong tower, the center of my joy! There’s nobody like You! Thank You Jesus! I say hallelujah! I worship You today! Praise ye the LORD! Great and mighty is our King!
