Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! (16) May 23

praise_the_lord_Worship-275x206

Welcome to Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! The Holy Scriptures: Thine, O LORD is the greatness, and the power, and the glory, and the victory, and the majesty: for all that is in the heaven and in the earth is thine: thine is the kingdom, O LORD, and thou art exalted as head above all. Both riches and honour come of thee and thou reignest over all; and in thine hand is power and might; and in thine hand it is to make great, and to give strength unto all. Now therefore, our God, we thank thee, and praise thy glorious name. (I Chronicles 29:11-13)

Call to Worship: “Praise the LORD. Praise, O ye servants of the LORD, praise the name of the LORD. Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and forevermore. From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD’s name is to be praised.” O Lord, as I enter the Holy of Holies, clothed with Your righteousness, I worship You, and only You. You are Glorious and Holy; I come before You boldly. I magnify Your name. Great and mighty is our God!

I will shout unto the LORD with a voice of triumph, because of His excellent greatness! You have made me glad, O LORD! My heart rejoices in Thee! Let the trumpets sound with sweet melody. “For Thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and Thy truth unto the clouds. Be Thou exalted, O God, above the heavens: let Thy glory be above all the earth. O the glory of Your presence. LORD I humbly give You reference. I worship You O mighty King, there is none like You. His presence is here to heal; to fill us with His mighty power. Enter in, O ye righteous. Come, enter in!

As the music plays: Expect a mighty move of God, because your deliverance is in your praise! Your healing is in your praise! Your breakthrough is in your praise! It is nigh, even in your mouth! Praise Him now! Let everything that hath breath, praise the LORD! Praise ye the LORD! Lift His name high! Worship Him! Honor Him! Glorify Him today! Exalt Him, O ye righteous! He’s worthy! Hallelujah!

Feel free to share a song of worship, a praise of thanksgiving, a Psalm of praise and worship, or whatever the Lord speaks into your heart to share, in the comment box. Please join us next time, for another Praise and Worship Session! Praise our God! Magnify Him! The Lord reignest! Blessed be the rock of my salvation!

    • “Here I am to worship! Here I am to bow down. Here I am to say that You’re my God! You are altogether lovely! You are altogether worthy. You are altogether wonderful to me.”

      Usually during the worship sessions, I like to hang around during the day, so that I can respond as quickly as possible to the praise and worship offerings, and to simply enjoy His presence. But I was tired today. However, as I listened to the worship, I began to feel revived! Praise God! Here I am to worship!!!

    • Such a powerful message! It’s all about our Lord and Savior! It’s all about You Jesus! Nothing else matters, because it’s all about You Lord!

    • Jesus, You are my King! Amazing love-How can it be-That You, my King-Would die for me” Thank You Jesus! No greater love! Beautiful song, Ann. Thank you.

    • Hi Paulette! Another beautiful Wednesday for worshiping our Jesus Lord! I wanted to bring the Gateway Church version, but it didn’t have the lyrics written out–and I really like them, so I found this instead–and I like it too!! God bless you dear Sister, and everyone here at church today–praising God that we can all come together as one for Him.

      • This is the day the Lord hath made! Let us rejoice and be glad in it! I truly enjoy the fellowship, when we gather together in His name! It’s all about Him, Jesus Christ our Lord! I’m always happy to see you here, worshiping the Lord, and giving Him the praise! God bless you, Caddo! Love, Paulette.

      • Sister Caddo,
        Thanks for sharing David Crowder Band. My grandma went home to Papa years ago, but there are days it seems like I hear her singing. Thanks for the memory.

        Here’s the band again with a beautiful song that speaks about how Jesus loves us. I just shared it elsewhere, but when I saw what you posted, I decided to go ahead and share it here as well 🙂

        Blessings

  1. God bless you, Paulette, for your sacrifice of praise . .for giving us a place to gather in His name and lift our hearts and lives to Him. Even on the days when it is the hardest for you to do, you lead us on. Thank you!

    Lord , You are so worthy and we are so grateful to get to come today, everyday, and praise You.

    We give our humble worship
    we give our humble lives
    to the One who is worthy
    to our King, Jesus Christ
    the Holy Son exalted
    risen and lifted high
    our Redeemer, our Savior
    Love magnified.

    • What a blessing it is to enter into His presence, with hearts bowed down, and hands upraised! When I think of the ultimate sacrifice made by our Savior Jesus Christ, the voices of 1 million angels cannot express my gratitude!

  3. Amazing God – amazing grace – amazing love – amazing sacrifice – amazing NEW life in Christ! – amazing guidance, protection, companionship, strength, enabling, challenge, encouragement, correction, and so much more! My loving Father has blessed me abundantly and continues His work in me. What an awesome God!

    Take Thou my love and consecrate it;
    Burn out the dross and make it all Thine own.
    Save me from SELF and all of earth’s ambitions
    Until SELF has DIED
    And THOU dost reign ALONE!

    • Your praise offering unto the Lord is absolutely beautiful! It caused me to shout unto the LORD!!! Your praise brought to mind I Chronicles 29:9-11. Here, King David worshiped the Lord from a place of knowing the Lord! He praised Him from a place of a heart relationship with God! In your offering, you praised God from that same place! A wonderful offering to the Lord, which was a blessing unto us as well! You are so right! “What an awesome God!” God bless you! Thank you so much!

    • Praise God! Blessed be the rock of my salvation! Thank you so much, Lady Deidre! I’m always happy to see you here with us, worshiping the Lord! I appreciate your support! The Lord bless you and keep you!

    Praise him with tambourine and dance;
