A Little about the Blog
Hello there! Thank you so much for stopping by! This is the day the Lord hath made, so let us rejoice and be glad in it! This blog is “A Place of Worship and Praise.” John 4:23 says, “But the hour cometh, and now is when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.” The underlying theme of this blog, woven into the very fabric of each post is, “It’s all about Jesus, it’s all about Him!” It’s about worshipping the LORD, in the beauty of holiness! Oh the wonder of Worship! It is adoration, which is ascribed unto God alone! It is our response to our Creator, God Almighty. We humbly celebrate Him with the fruit of our lips, we honor Him by kneeling in His presence, with upraised hands, and with hearts bowed down! Ultimately, we worship God with our lives.…The other point of interest here, is Living with Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome/RSD. In a manner of speaking, RSD has turned my life upside down, and inside out! It is my hope, to bring about awareness of this debilitating and chronically painful, and most certainly life changing, neurological syndrome. As you peruse the recent articles, don’t forget to take a peek at the archived postings. I sincerely hope you will be richly blessed, as you read the subject matter of this blog. Please feel free to comment on, or ask questions, about anything you read. Your input would be greatly appreciated.
A Little About Myself
I accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as my Savior, at a very early age. I was baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, according to Acts 2:38, and I received the gift of the Holy Ghost, evidenced with speaking in other tongues, another language, as the Spirit of Almighty God gave me utterance. I believe holiness is a way of life, and not a religion. I Peter 1:15-16 says, “But as He which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy.” I grew up in the church. As a youth and young adult, I attended the Lily of the Valley Faith Bibleway Church, of the Apostolic Faith. Working and serving in ministry were my passions. Music was a huge part of my life. I am a singer, and I was a choir director. Training singers to come together as one voice is a beautiful thing, but I digress. When I am inspired by God to do so I write songs and poetry. Serving as a praise and worship leader, and ushering the congregation into the presence of God was an awesome experience! When my brother became a Pastor, I worked very closely with him in the ministry. Under his tutelage, I was given many opportunities to stir up the gifts the Lord placed within me. I assisted with teaching the Ministerial Class, and I served as the Sunday School Superintendent. I especially enjoyed teaching the New Converts Class. Above all else, I am a true worshiper. There is no other place I would rather be, than in the presence of Almighty God!
I hope you’ll visit again, soon! When you leave a comment, it is always greatly appreciated. I enjoy hearing from those who read the blog, and I always make my best effort to reply in a timely manner! May the Lord bless you abundantly, today and every day! 🙂
Hi Paulette.
In my 52 years of serving the Lord (since I was 22) I have also ministered in a teaching capacity, firstly teaching adults and moving into teaching teens and children. My main passion, especially in the last 15 years, has been reaching children and helping them to establish a Biblical worldview; helping them to understand WHY they believe WHAT they believe. I also minister to the abused, having been extremely abused for the first 22 years of my life.
I’m looking forward to sharing with you.
Angela
Hello Angela,
I am catching up on responding to comments on my page. It means much to me, when someone takes time to share their thoughts after reading an article. I don’t take it lightly, as they are such a blessing to me!
Your posts are always excellent, and they are presented with such practicality! They are definitely a blessing to me, and I am sure to your other readers, as well. May God continue to richly bless you.
First of all I want to thank you for stopping by and reading my blog, and I have read some of yours so far and you are on the right track, You Go Girl!! I haven’t been in church all my life like you, but I am so thankful that we have a God that Loves us and delivers us. Thank You Jesus!! I will send my followers to your site. God Bless!!!
Hello,
I have been visiting your page regularly. You are doing an excellent job. You are open and honest. It is obvious, that you are studying God’s Word! You are in my prayers. God bless you.
Excellent work! I’m reading more, with profit, anticipation, and prayers for your witness. donkimrey
You have been such an encouragement to me. I appreciate your kindness, as well as your thoughtfulness. I solicit your prayers. God bless you!!!
Paulette,
Thank you for stopping by Truth Behind Reality and commenting. I so appreciate being in the company of someone who loves truth. Only introspective and deep thinkers take the time to read that type of material, let alone ingest it.
Regarding your comment on New Leaven, I just happened across the site and saw your question regarding the NIV/ESV comparison. I found it hard to believe that several days had passed with no one responding to your question. I don’t take that topic lightly.
Regardless of what version you choose, I want you to know that I use the ESV, and have since 2007. For the first time in my life, reading the Bible became a true pleasure.
With that being said, I hope that you stop by as time permits – maybe even strike up a conversation (critique or otherwise). Thanks again for your comment.

* I am sincerely sorry for your pain: I read your page, “Living with a Chronically Painful Syndrome” and saw the video on YouTube. Next time you stop over read My Story.
Hey Paulette! Thanks for stopping by apostolic765.com and commenting on my blog. We have a lot in common! I really enjoyed reading several of your post. Keep fighting the good fight! I was raised in a non denominational trinity church and was baptized in Jesus Name and introduced to the Apostolic faith at the age of 21! Been on fire for it ever since! God Bless, and keep in touch!

Paulette
Just dropped by. You are a constant source of encouragement to me, and I’d like for you to know I also appreciate your work and pray for you. You have some interesting friends, too. Sometime, when you have a spare moment, would you visit the website for my book? There’s a table of contents and some sample chapters. I believe you would especially enjoy the one titled: “The Key to Joseph’s Comeback.” The site is Godscomebackkids.com. My prayer is that the Lord will use the book to touch others who’ve stumbled along the way, perhaps lost their faith and courage, and need to know by the grace of God they can come back! My hope is that the book will become a guide for small groups in Churches, prisons, etc. Please pray with me for that result. Thanks. I feel confident and prayerful that you’ll get as close to Christ as you can and STAY there. donkimrey
Hello Don,
I will definitely visit the website for your book. Again, congratulations. The purpose and intent for which the book was written, are excellent. The enemy of our souls, has tricked some into thinking that after they’ve fallen, they can’t get back up again! It sounds like you have created a tool, that will help to guide them back to the foot of the cross, by the grace of God! I will be praying with you. God bless you, my friend. Thank you for your prayers!
Paulette
We have some things in common. I am a singer, too. I have written Christian songs. If you look in the left column of my blog there are categories. One of them is titled “My Songs”. If you click on it you can see them and even hear a couple. I have been so moved by what I have read so far in your comments here and there and also at your blog. God Bless you!
Theresa
Hello Theresa,
I enjoyed visiting your blog. Your entry, as well as the comments, were awesome! When I went back to your blog, I went to the section titled “My Songs”. I really liked the lyrics you wrote. They were definitely from the heart, a heart that has definitely been created anew. Psalms 51:10 says, “Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me”. It’s apparent that you have a “right” spirit within you!
Thank you so much for your encouraging comments! They are much appreciated!
May God continue to richly bless you!
Paulette
I am glad you liked them! I love that verse (Psalm 51:10), too. I know that the Lord understands our prayers even when all we can do is say…”Lord I’m so sorry.”, and “Lord, help me…I’m scared.”, but I like to try to articulate, and whenever those moments come and I just can’t I find myself quoting that verse, and the Lord’s prayer.
May God Bless you, too!
Theresa
Hi Paulette,
“Working and serving in ministry were my passions. I served in many capacities. Music was a huge part of my life. I am a singer, and I was a choir director.”
I am trying to remember from reading the other parts of your blog how your illness has been in recent weeks. Are you sometimes well enough to make it to church and sing?
I am in a place right now where I only sing at home with my family. I miss the way that it used to be, but I am still thankful that I at least can sing at home. I have a low voice. I sing contralto and first tenor. My husband plays the piano and has a beautiful voice…sings 2nd tenor/baritone.
I would like to hear more about your singing if you would feel like sharing that. Do you like hymns praise songs, contemporary Christian, southern gospel, any secular? What are your favorite songs? You sound like a very interesting person. I am glad we met.
Dear Paulette,
After reading through the varied sections of your blog I have been rescued from the minor distractions and nonsense problems of my life! I have been renewed in the spirit of God’s promise! Thank you for sharing your blog with me. I have enjoyed reading over the articles, listening to soulful songs, and reflecting through the comments of the brothers and sisters that have visited your site. God has certainly enabled you to do what He has called us to do, through your blog. Awesome, and so soulful!
To those that are sharing their stories: 2 Peter 1:3 says, “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue.” My prayers are with you and yours.
God Bless,
Terri
Hello Terri,
Thank you so much, for taking the time to visit the blog. My heart was truly made glad, because before leaving the site, you had “been renewed in the spirit of God’s promise!” Before posting an article, I listen for the voice of the Lord to guide me, because it isn’t about me, but it’s ALL about Him! I consider the comments that are shared after each posting, to be a part of the article, and I’m very glad you enjoyed reading them, as well.
I endeavor to carefully select the music that is played on the blog. It’s important to me, that the artists and the songs be highly anointed. I believe, that music ministry can be a means of deliverance. After all, it is the anointing that destroys every yoke of bondage! I sincerely hope, that all who listen are blessed!
Again, thank you Terri, for stopping by, and I hope you will visit again soon. I appreciate you sharing, a very thoughtful comment! Also, thank you for the words of encouragement!
May the Lord bless you, abundantly!
Paulette
I wanted to take some time to thank you for encouraging me through my blog by visiting so often and for your thoughtful comments. I thank God for you being such a blessing in my life. May God bless you always.
Hello Tabitha,
You are quite welcome! :-)Thank you so much for stopping by! I have enjoyed reading about your Spiritual transformation, and how you have come to know the Lord, in a very real way! Thank you, for sharing your story with us! Continue to follow on to know the Lord, as there is so much more of Him, that is available to you. Continue to acknowledge the Lord, in all of your ways, because He surely will direct your path. Again, I am truly happy for you. 🙂
God bless you, as well!
Paulette
Hi Paulette,
I too have RSD, I’ve had it for 12 years. I am fortunate that I have gone into remission 3 times, I’m not without pain but the RSD is not too bad at this time.
I founded a support group at our local hospital about 11 years ago.
I was pleasantly surprised to find someone with Paulette as their name (haven’t met too many of us in my life) and for both of us to have RSD makes me sad. I play the piano and am in charge of childrens music at our church, most importantly I am a Christian. We do have more than our name in common.
I pray that you have much success with your blog and that God blesses you and continues to make you a blessing.
Gentle hugs,
Paulette
Hi Paulette,
It’s very nice to meet you. Thank you so much for stopping by, and leaving a comment. I’m very happy to hear that you have gone into remission, and that your pain is not too bad. 🙂 I think it’s wonderful that you founded a support group, at your local hospital! At present, I am a member of two online RSD support groups. It breaks my heart, each time a person joins a site, who has been newly diagnosed with RSD. Some share their stories of doctors not believing them about their pain levels, and telling them, “it’s all in their heads”, etc. I am sure you are very familiar with the drill, in a manner of speaking.
You’re right. We do have much more in common than our names and RSD. Before becoming strickened with this syndrome, I too played the piano, a bit. What I miss most of all, is being able to function in the church, as I once did.
Thank you for your prayers! I hope you’ll visit again. I believe you have much to share, about this syndrome. May the blessings of the Lord, continue to rest upon your life!
Gentle hugs,
Paulette
I am 44, been saved since Oct 15th 1990 when I accepted the lord into my life. You should see:

Hi Pat,
I’d say, you did an excellent job, LOL! I haven’t written a “book”, in quite some time now. I’m sure you’d have to agree with me on that one! Your devotionals are good, but some of them have been “books” of late. Wouldn’t you agree? LOL! I enjoy your friendship, as well.
Seriously, Jesus is the answer, for the world today. Let’s continue to spread the good news, the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to tell everybody, about somebody, who can save anybody! Our God, is an awesome God!
Love,
Paulette
Praise be to God Paulette.
Indeed it is a pleasure hearing from you on today. Through Marianne, I am able to connect with so many Christian women who not only love the Lord, but are also sold out for Him.
Truly, I can say that God has poured out His Spirit upon all flesh and I am not only grateful, but honored that He chose me to be one of his ambassadors in the earth.
I look forward to viewing your blog and sharing in the fellowship of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ through His Gospel that He has given to us to share with the world.
God bless and yes, TELL THE LORD THANK YOU!
Debra
God bless you Minister Aiken,
It is a pleasure to meet you! Yes, Jesus is my everything! He is the air I breathe, and the song I sing! Without Him, I would be absolutely nothing! Hi Stacy,
Usually, when I stumble across information pertaining to RSD or chronic pain, I’ll usually peak in. I’m glad to have found your blog, which pertains to finding purpose in our pain, from a Christian perspective. Sounds very familiar. I appreciate you stopping by today.
May the Lord bless you abundantly, today and every day!

Hello Caddo,
I visited your blog before, and from my first visit, I knew you were an excellent poet. I was impressed with your writing style, which was evident whenever you left comments on Debbie’s blog. To have you visit my blog, is an honor! Thank you! Thank you for your kind words, as well! God bless you!
Hi my sister, Paulette–I’ve just nominated you for the “Reader Appreciation Award”. Come on over and get it–lunch is being served up too! God bless you richly. Love–xxxooo
HI Paulette
I was so inspired to read your blog and some of the responses that you have received. You are truly and inspiration. You know we go way back and my thoughts and prayers are with you always. Love Noni
Hi Noni,
What a pleasant surprise! 🙂 I’m really glad you stopped by. So, how have you and your young men been? I’m hoping all is well, in your part of the world.
I appreciate your words of kindness and encouragement! Thank you for the prayers. I hope to hear from you, again soon. God bless you, longtime friend. 🙂
Love,
Paulette
Good Morning, my longtime friend! Everybody in Cow-town is doing good. What a wonderful gift God has given you, here I’m thinking what could I say that would possibly be a blessing to you, then I’m reading what you have written: all of a sudden my eyes become wells of tears and I cry out Abba father, you bless her, you keep her, may your glory rest upon her because you have anointed her to do great things. ” the eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous and his ear is given to their cries” love Noni
I wanted to tell you Anthony Evans Jr. sang at my church 2 weeks ago his dad was the speaker, also his sister Priscilla is an awesome woman of God I did not mean to sigh anonymous if you know me I am anything but anonymous. love Noni
What a coincidence! 🙂 I hadn’t heard of Anthony Evans Jr., until very shortly before posting him on my blog as the Gospel Artist of the Week. I happened upon a video by him on a blog I visited, and thought I’d share his music ministry here.
Again, thanks for visiting, and commenting. God bless you, and may heaven smile upon you! 🙂
Love,
Paulette
Hey Noni,
I’m glad to hear, that everyone is doing well! Thank you so much for speaking from your heart, because you truly blessed my heart! The prayer you spoke over my life was touching. Thank you for taking heed unto the voice of the Lord.
“The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: The LORD make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The LORD lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.” Noni, thank you, again!
Love,
Paulette
Paulette if you get a chance I want you to see this video it’s old but does it speak volumes , this is one of my favorite songs, I hope it blesses you as it continues to bless me. Love Noni
Hi Noni,
Thanks so much for sharing today! The song is absolutely beautiful! Perhaps, I’ll feature Jody McBrayer as a Gospel Artist of the Week, soon. Thanks! 🙂
Love,
Paulette
Hello Paulette…I just wanted to personally thank you for being an inspiration to me and my blogging aspirations! With that said, I wanted to let you know that I have nominated you for the Versatile Blogger Award! You can check out the details on my blog at http://faith1stministries.wordpress.com . CONGRATULATIONS!!
Hi Sebastian,
First of all, I wanted to apologize, because it has taken me so long to reply to your comment.
Thank you so much for nominating me for the Versatile Blogger Award! Your words of kindness are greatly appreciated. Congratulations for your nomination for this award, as well! You are most certainly a versatile blogger! 🙂 I will be visiting your blog very soon. God bless you!
I noticed that you checked out one of my blog posts, so I thought I’d check out yours. First, I must say “there are no such things as coincidences in life”. For us, as born again followers of Jesus Christ, each step is “ordered by the Lord”. With that said, when I saw the RSD info I was shocked, you see I have CFS, FMS, Chronic Lyme, etc etc so I know exactly what you live with each day. I am praying you Paulette, and thank you for using your talents to serve the Lord, regardless of a disease (or multiple diseases).
Be blessed dear sister as you bless others!
~~Streim~~
Hello Alwayzhis,
Like you, I believe our steps are ordered by the Lord. It was not by happenstance that our paths crossed! We have much in common. May we lift each other up in prayer, that the Lord would get the glory out of our lives, even through our suffering! May the Lord richly bless you! I look forward to the fellowship.
Paulette
At last, sooneme who knows where to find the beef
Hi Paulette
I have been telling my friends here in Texas that they have to see what the Lord is doing through you. The way the Lord uses you in your writing is such an inspiration to me and I know to others. I sent Gerri 2 plays that I had written some time and she promised me she would share those with you. I pray they make you laugh and just remind you of all the times in your parents house growing up that we did nothing but laugh. love NONI
Hi Noni,
My heart has been blessed, because you have found inspiration here at “A Place of Worship.” It is not about me, but it is ALL about HIM! When I got online last night, I noticed a lot of traffic from Facebook, which is unusual. I don’t have a Facebook account, so I believe the traffic coming in from Facebook is because of you, and I’m very grateful to you for sharing! Thank you so much! 🙂
Gerry told me about you writing plays. I will have to remind her to share them with me. If your writing mirrors the laughs and fun we had when we were younger, I know I will laugh a lot while reading, LOL! You were always a great storyteller, and you kept us “in stitches”, LOL! Have a wonderful day, and God bless you!
Hi Paulette.
I have given you the Candle Lighters Award with thanks for the way you have “lighted” my world and for the way you bring so much light to all as you worship the Lord on your blog.
I know you already have this award (no surprise) but it can be received many times.
Hi Angela,
Thank you for nominating me for the Candle Lighter Award! I am truly humbled, and I must give glory to whom the glory is truly do, the Lord Jesus Christ! I’m so glad to have being used to “light your world.” You certainly have done the same and more, for me! You have been such a blessing to me, and the many other fans/followers of your work! May God bless you richly! Again, thank you very much! 🙂
Hi Paulette
I pray you got a chance to do a lot of laughing this weekend. How did you enjoy the plays and also did you get a chance to watch the Priscilla Shirer DVD, she is the daughter of Dr. Tony Evans of Oak-cliff Bible Church here in Dallas Tex. I admire so much what the Lord is doing through you to reach other people and I know the humility and obedience that you walk in, has never been about you but it is all for your good and His Glory. What a wonderful blessing it is to be a vessel that truly God wants to use!
Love Noni
Good morning Noni,
Girl, you certainly have not lost your sense of humor, LOL! That was most assuredly the Noni I remember! 🙂 Thank you for sharing! I’ll definitely share with Angie. 🙂
Since you have been visiting my blog, you have been such an encouragement to me, and for that I thank you so very much! Actually, I never, ever saw myself blogging. This is the Lord’s doing, and it is marvelous in my eyes! To God be the glory! Thanks again Noni, for being an inspiration to me, as well as a great friend! 🙂
Love,
Paulette
Hi Noni,
How have you been? I wanted you to know, that I haven’t watched “The Red Carpet Affair.” For some reason, I never got this one. Gerry just gave it to me last night. Have a blessed day!
Love,
Paulette
Yes Paulette,
Our God is still working miracles today. He changes not. He is the same yesterday, today and forever. If He was able to do it back then, He is the same God today and is able to do it again. Your faith is being tested, but when you come out of the fire, you will come out as pure gold. Romans 8:28-31.
I know without a doubt Paulette that God has you in the palm of His hands. He sees and knows your pain. Continue to pray, seek His face and trust Him as you have done and is still doing and WATCH GOD!! He will come through for you Paulette. I do believe that!! You know our God is known for stepping into firery furnaces. :>)
Be encourage and keep speaking healing over your body, in spite of what you may feel like. Tell God “Thank you that you have already healed my body, thank you that my body is healed and whole once again in the name of Jesus!”
I will continue to keep you before the Lord for another miracle. He is a miracle working God.
I love you my sista.
Debra
Good morning Minister Aiken,
I’m sorry I missed this post! As I read it just now, my heart was encouraged, and my spirit uplifted! Praise the name of the Lord! As I am waiting on the Lord, I am waiting with a heartfelt praise! I know He is able to do exceedingly abundantly, above all that I can ask or think! Yes, since He did it before, He can do it again! Thank you so much for being a great friend! 🙂 May the Lord bless you today, and every day!
Love you,
Paulette

What a beautiful cover page. The flowers are absolutely beautiful. I feel the peace and love on this blogs as I look at the pictures.
It’s been a minute since I was able to visit. Been busy a whole lot with Church stuff, but I thank God anyhow.
I am still lifting up your health before the Lord and calling out your name for divine healing by the Father.
Keep trusting and keep believing. God is on your side Paulette.
Love ya.
Debra
Hello Minister Aiken,
It’s always nice to hear from you! You had been on my mind, and God orchestrates everything well! I do miss being “busy” working for the Lord! Of late, I have been dealing with severe flare ups of the RSD, but I continue to give God the praise! Thank you so much for your prayers, your support, and your friendship!
Love you,
Paulette
You have a very lovely blog here. I was baptized in the name of Jesus and also received the holy ghost at a very young age of 3!
I have a blog over at http://godsgirlz1.wordpress.com. I would love it if you would come and check it out.
Hello Godsgirlz1,
Amen, and amen! Wonderful! Thanks so much for your kind words. I’ll definitely visit your blog, very soon! May the Lord bless you, richly!

Hello Pastor Thomas,
I enjoyed your post today. I tried to comment on your page using two different browsers, to no avail. I thought you might want to know this. I will share a link to your post here. God bless you! http://imagebreakers.wordpress.com/2012/03/26/men-with-manners-what-is-a-gentleman/
Hi Minister
Thanks again for the Wednesday Worship Sessions. they are wonderful!!! 🙂
I wondered if I may trouble you a little … is it possible to include the date in the name of the worship sessions?
Thanks again for listening. God bless you as you praise and worship!
Joyful,
ann
Thank you so much! I always enjoy your contributions to the Worship Sessions, as you worship Him out of a pure heart! The videos you add to the stream, are always amazing! You are building up my listening library, and I am most appreciative! LOL!
I will definitely include the date along with the name of the Worship Sessions! No problem! God bless! Thanks again! 🙂
Thanks for accommodating, dear Minister 🙂
It is my pleasure to share. May God bless your heart of worship! Thanks for leaving the door open so we can pop in and praise Him!
Hallelujah!
Praise God my sister Paulette,
Just checking in.
I really do love your site. I always feel the presence of the Lord and His anointing when I visit your site.
Truly the Lord is with you and He is doing a great work in and through you.
Romans 8:28.
Greater works shall you do Paulette. Mighty and Great things are assigned to your hands by the Lord. Your blog is evident of that.
There is a peace here. So much comfort and soothing.
God is truly with you.
Miracle seeds are being planted on this site and the first one has already begun with you. So as it is in the Spirit, it is also in the natural.
God bless and I love you. Your best is yet to come!!
Do remember to tell the Lord thank you in advance.
Love ya.
Debra

My prayer is, that all who visit the site, will experience His presence and anointing power! It’s all about Him! Thank you so much for your words of kindness! You are truly a woman of God, and you are blessed and highly favored by Him! May the Peace of God, which passeth all understanding, keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Have a blessed day!

For those who have left comments in this stream, I wanted you to know, that I am suddenly unable to leave comments on any blogs, other than my own, for some unknown reason. I will have to contact WordPress. So, presently, I will only be clicking the “like button” on blogs, until this matter is resolved. God bless you all, today, and every day!
You are greatly missed, Minister
Praying all will be well for tomorrow. I’m all ready to go and can hardly wait 🙂
God bless you, sister-friend.
ann
🙂 🙂 Thanks so much! May His blessings be upon you!
Gracias 🙂
Right back at ya!
Blessings

Hi Ann,
I just left your blog, and I attempted to leave a comment again. Would you please check your spam to see if it is there? A few bloggers have found my comments in their spam. They approved them, so the comments would appear in their streams. Thank you! God bless you! I hope your week is going splendidly! 🙂
Hello Minister Paulette,
Thanks much for coming by 🙂
I released your comment from spam but it disappeared completely … that is puzzling!
May I trouble you to try again when you have a moment?
Thanks much and God bless you,
ann
Hi Ann,
I was going to attempt to repost my comment on your blog, but I saw it on your page, with this message at the bottom: “Your comment is awaiting moderation.” Like you, I will be so happy to have this matter resolved! However, when I went to get support from WordPress I found out, that they were only responding to inquiries from “upgraded bloggers.” Also, when I looked into the help forums, this particular issue was not listed there. (sigh)
Thanks kindly.
Your response gave me the clue I needed 🙂 Apparently you were being treated as a new commenter so I had to manually approve you.
Did you change your email address?
Blessings
ann
You’re welcome.
No, I didn’t change my e-mail address. A few weeks before I encountered this problem, I changed my e-mail settings so that I would not receive e-mail notifications when someone clicked the light button, or when a comment was added on a post. I also stopped clicking the “notify me when someone comments on posts that I have commented on” button. It was becoming extremely difficult to keep up with all of the e-mail messages in my inbox. So, when WordPress added the notification button to the administrative line on our blogs, I stopped the e-mail notifications. I really don’t know whether or not this has anything to do with the problem that I’m having now, with comments being sent directly to spam on most of the blogs that I frequent.
Hi Paulette,
just checking in. I pray all is well.
God bless. Do tell the Lord thank you!
Debra

Hello iako,
Welcome! Thank you so much for stopping by, and commenting. 🙂 Our God is real! As I read your comment, these lyrics came to mind: “Because He lives, I can face tomorrow. Because He lives, all fear is gone. And now I know holds my future. My life is worth the living, just because He lives!” Praise God! Praise God! He is a wonder! What a Savior Jesus is! I’m so glad that you’ve come to know Jesus! “There is not a friend like the lowly Jesus, no not one, no not one! None else can heal all of our souls diseases! No not one, no not one!” There’s not a friend like Jesus! Alleluia!
