Welcome to Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! The Holy Scriptures: O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! who hast set thy glory above the heavens. Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings hast thou ordained strength because of thine enemies, that thou mightest still the enemy and the avenger. When I consider thy heavens, the work of thy fingers, the moon and the stars, which thou hast ordained; What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visiteth him? (Psalm 8:1-5) I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. (Psalm 9:2)
Call to Worship: “Lord prepare me, to be Your sanctuary; pure and holy, tried and true. With thanksgiving, I’ll be a living sanctuary, Lord for You.” Heavenly Father, all that I am and ever hope to be, I owe it all to Thee. I am nothing without You. It is only in You that I live, that I move, and have my being. You are the song that I sing, the sweet melody in my heart. You are the air I breathe, the breath of life. You are my everything. O Lord, I love You. I praise You. O Lord, I worship You. You are the desire of my heart.
Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in! Holy, worthy, righteous, Savior. Sovereign God, the great I Am. Holy, worthy, righteous, Savior. Sovereign God, the precious Lamb. The God of all mercy, the God of all grace; Lord, You are welcome in this place. I’m in awe of Your Holiness, Your Glory, Your Majesty. It is with humbled heart, that today I’ve come to Thee. You are high and lifted up, and I bow before Your throne. There is none like You, O Lord. You are God and God alone. You are Adonai, Lord, Master; EL Shaddai, Almighty God. The heavens declare Your greatness, Your power, Your brilliance. Your strength is more than many rivers, raging fiercely. Your love is unconditional, redemptive; higher than the firmament, deeper than the sea; wider than the oceans, vast. God, You are love. Here I am to worship You, Christ the Lord. I come to Thee.

Set my spirit free to worship Thee.” Honor and power, glory and strength, are Thine alone, O Lord. I exalt Thee! I bless Thee out of Zion!

I have been bubbling over with worship since early yesterday! My spirit is soaring right now! Each time I listen to this song, and I have listened numerous times since yesterday morning, my spirit begins to worship! I just can’t help myself right now! LOL! God is so good, and I just love Him! I’m days late, but the worship is just as sweet. God never changes and His love and care for us never changes. He continues His work in us, making us more Christlike, preparing us for the time when He will ‘present us faultless’ to Himself. We praise Him and exalt the name of Jesus!
