Welcome to Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session!
The Holy Scriptures: I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving. This also shall please the LORD better than an ox or bullock that hath horns and hoofs. (Psalm 69:30-31) O praise the LORD, all ye nations: praise him all ye people. For his merciful kindness is great toward us: and the truth of the LORD endureth for ever. Praise ye the LORD. (Psalm 117:1-2) All nations whom thou hast made shall come and worship before thee, O LORD; and shall glorify thy name. For thou art great, and doeth wondrous things: thou art God alone. (Psalm 86:9-10)

Call to Worship: “I love You Lord, and I lift my voice; to worship You, O my soul rejoice. Take joy my King, in what you hear. May it be a sweet, sweet sound in Your ear. We exalt Thee, we exalt Thee. We exalt Thee, O LORD.” I magnify Your name. I bow down to worship at Your throne, and to honour You with praise. Please, fill me with Your presence O LORD, as I come to You this day.

Spirit of the Living God, fall afresh on me. Lord, I come before You as an empty pitcher before a full fountain. “Fill my cup Lord. I lift it up Lord. Come and quench this thirsting of my soul.” My soul thirsts for the Living Water, for the Living God. My soul thirsts for You. Early will I seek Thee. O Lord, open thou my lips and my mouth shall show forth thy praise. Master, Savior, and Lord of all, You are perfect in all of Your ways. You are my Father, my Redeemer, the Breath of Life; You live within my soul. It is because of Your great sacrifice, that my broken life has been made whole. Jesus, I just can’t praise You enough, for all of Your benefits unto me. Please receive my worship today, O Lord as I come to Thee.

I will praise Thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart; and I will glorify thy name for evermore. As the music plays: Lord, we give You all the glory, and we bless You, and You alone. You are God, and Lord of all, Thou art God alone. Fill us with Your presence and power, as we worship You in the Spirit! We bless Your holy name, O God, and we give You all the praise!

Feel free to share a song of worship, a praise of thanksgiving, a Psalm of praise and worship, or whatever the Lord speaks into your heart to share, in the comment box. Please join us next time, for another Praise and Worship Session! Come, worship Him today! Bless His holy name! Come Holy Spirit!

    • God bless you, Minister Desiray. Thanks for stopping by! I’ve just recently become familiar with the Ministry of Vicki Yohe. She is an awesome praise and worship leader! What a gift to the body of Christ!

    • That song is just … wow! Paints such a vivid picture of His love and the safety we have when we allow our lives to be hidden in Him.

So thankful His grace covers me!

      Blessings as you worship,
      ann

  1. I have so much to thank Him for, but at the end of it all, nothing is worth having if it doesn’t glorify Him, and nothing I have or dream of owning will ever compare to the promises HE has given to us.

Blessed be the everlasting God! Lord, You are worthy and holy! We gladly trust Your words because Your promises are true!

    • Wonderful praise unto our King! “Nothing is worth having if it doesn’t glorify Him.” Amen! Power and majesty on to our King! Blessed be the Rock of my salvation!

Yesterday was a bit of a struggle for me physically, but my praise was not dulled! Another wonderful time in His presence! Thank you for being you! God bless you!

      • God bless you, Minister Paulette

        • Thank you so much, Ann! Praise God, I am feeling much better today. I appreciate your prayers! God is truly moving by His spirit! God bless you too!

    • I listened to this song on the YouTube webpage! It was beautiful! I really enjoyed it! The heart of worship, is all about Jesus! It’s about Him alone! Thank you Jesus!—Ann, thank you so much for sharing this song, and the other songs that blessed us richly, during this time of worship! God bless you!

    • You took the words right out of my mouth, Sister–lately, I find that sometimes I can only keep saying His Name, over and over! It is my thanksgiving, praise, and my prayer to Him.

      • Hi Sister Caddo

The first time I heard this song it was done by the Christ Church choir. I listened to it over and over again from a place of being so broken and needy that I couldn’t even tell Him what I needed. Fortunately, He provided a song that said exactly what I needed to hear. Jesus is truly the answer.

God bless you as you draw near to Him.

    • Yes, there is something special about that name! No other name I know! Sometimes all we can say is His name! There is so much power in that name! I love to call His name! Hallelujah! Ann, thank you so much!

  2. In tears again here, at worship time. Thank you, for hosting us, Paulette, and being our worship leader . . .availing yourself to Him and us. Here is a song a friend sent to me just today , in time for Wed. worship.
P.s. Dear Paulette, I just discovered some of your last comments and Desiray’s in my spam section. I’m so sorry! Trying to find them all and reply! love you!

    • It’s wonderful the way you come with a ready heart and a ready mind to worship Him! That’s when His presence meets you, overtakes you, rains down on you, and blesses you, over and over again! That’s just the kind of God we serve! Isn’t He wonderful? It is such a blessing to me, to worship with you and everyone else! The “extravagant worship” video was awesome! Thanks so much for sharing it! Love you!

(I’m glad you were able to retrieve the comments from your spam. Hopefully, they will post to your blog now.)

    • I really enjoyed our praise and worship session on Monday! What a time we had! God was in the midst of us, as we glorified His name! Yes, the devil went on the attack afterwards, but he didn’t steal my joy, and I’m so glad he didn’t steal yours! Praise the Lord! Nobody can do me like Jesus! He’s a wonder in my soul! Keep on praising Him in this storm, because there’s a blessing on the other side of through! Thanks for stopping by, to worship Him today! Love you!

  4. Good Morning everyone at Paulette’s Wednesday church!! God bless you all as we praise and thank our Lord for Who He is, and All He Does–Hallelujah!!

    “Holy Are His Arms”

    Holy are His arms
    That ever open wide—
    Welcoming the lost and fallen
    Those who’d run and hide.
    Holy are His arms
    To gather up the world
    Devastated and rejecting—
For us, He shed His Glory, died.
    He lifts us up
    New, Healed and Whole
    Redeemed, Reclaimed—
    Rejoice, my soul!
    He lifts us up
    His freedom gives
    So we can dance unshackled—
    Joyously sing, “He Lives!”
    And now, we also live
    Within true Love’s embrace
Holy are the arms of Jesus—
Holy are His arms that hold us
    Forever-saved, and safe.
