It’s Time for Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! (49) Mar. 20 What A Savior!

valentines_day_wallpapers_wishes_greetings_loversday(www.picturespool.blogspot.com)_06

Welcome everyone, to Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! The Holy Scriptures: Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us. (Hebrews 9:12) And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance. (Hebrews 9:15)

The Call to Worship: Hallelujah! What a Savior Jesus is. I’ve been redeemed by His precious blood, now I am His. He brought me out of darkness, into His marvelous light. I’ve been engrafted into the body of Christ by God’s grace, His ultimate sacrifice. Jesus paid a ransom for my lost soul, a price I could never repay. When He died upon Calvary’s cross that day, He opened salvation’s way. O, let the redeemed of the Lord say so. Shout it from the mountain top, and in the valley low. Testify of His mercy and His love, everywhere you go. O, give Him thanks for all He has done; our risen Savior, the Anointed One. He’s worthy of the glory, of the honor, and the praise. In the presence of the Lord, I am wondrously amazed! O, Glory Hallelujah!

As the Music Plays: “In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.” Lord Jesus, I glorify Your name, I worship You in the spirit, and I render unto You heartfelt praise, for the wondrous works You have wrought in my life. Thank You Lord, for all of Your many blessings, so undeserved I know. Had it not been for Your grace and Your mercy, Lord, whither shall I go? Mighty God, oh how I love You so!

Feel free to share a song of worship, a praise of thanksgiving, a Psalm of praise and worship, a poem, or whatever the Lord speaks into your heart to share in the comment box. Please join us next time, for another Praise and Worship Session! Beloved, it’s time to praise the Lord. From the depths of your soul, glorify Him, and lift His name high. Praise Him in advance. Give Him an “in spite of” praise. Give Him a “hallelujah anyhow” praise. Isn’t He worthy? Come on, let’s do what we were created to do! Let’s glorify the Lord!

It’s Time for Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! (47) Feb. 20 Bless the Lord, O My Soul!

Welcome everyone, to Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! The Holy Scriptures: I waited patiently for the Lord; and he inclined unto me, and he heard my cry. He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings. And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD. Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies. (Psalm 40:1 – 4)

The Call to Worship: “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. - I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.” You’re Jehovah Nissi, the LORD my banner, my exceeding great reward; my Strength, my Redeemer, my Battle Axe, my Sword. You are that Light that shineth in darkness, illuminating my pathway. Though shadows are cast all about me, You turn midnight into day. I can’t help but praise You, LORD, through disappointments and despair. I know that You are with me, Jehovah Shammah, You’re always there. Blessed be the Rock of my salvation, the ruler of every nation; Creator of all that was, that is, and all that is to come. I put all of my trust in You, O Lord. I praise You for victories won. Had it not been for the Lord on my side, tell me, where would I be? – Utterly lost, without hope in this world. O Lord, I praise You for saving me. Glory hallelujah!

As the Music Plays: “Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us–ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee; if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.” O Lord I give You praise, for Your wondrous works unto the children of men.

Feel free to share a song of worship, a praise of thanksgiving, a Psalm of praise and worship, a poem, or whatever the Lord speaks into your heart to share, in the comment box. Please join us next time, for another Praise and Worship Session! Beloved, it’s time to praise the Lord. Pause for just a few moments to give Him glory for His grace, for His mercy, for His bountiful blessings, for unmerited favor; for love everlasting. Isn’t He worthy?

It’s Time for Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! (46) Feb. 13 Holy is the LORD!

83be3b83e7bf9565 2

Welcome everyone, to Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! The Holy Scriptures: Who is like unto thee, O LORD, among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders? (Exodus 15:11) There is none holy as the LORD: for there is none beside thee: neither is there any rock like our God. (I Samuel 2:2) The LORD is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works. (Psalm 145:17) As he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. (I Peter 1:15 – 16)

The Call to Worship: “Sing unto the LORD, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.” Praise the Lord! I’ve been washed in the blood of the Lamb! I’m indwelt by His Spirit, kept by His grace; what a day of rejoicing when I see Him face to face! Glory hallelujah!

Holy is the Lord! Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of hosts! The whole earth is full of His glory! You came down from heaven, enrobed in sinful flesh; You are redemption’s story! I honor You, Lord! I magnify Your name. I worship You, O God! I offer unto You, exuberant praise! You are excellent; perfect in all of Your ways. You looked beyond my faults and saw all of my needs. Laid upon You, was the penalty of sin, (death) for every one of my wrong deeds. You rescued my soul from a burning hell. It was Your love that lifted me. When nothing else could help my wretched soul, Your  precious blood set me free. O Lord, I bow before You, reverently. You alone are worthy, and Most Holy! Holy is the LORD, my Savior and King; the Righteous and Faithful One. Blessings, glory, and honor unto Your name, unto the settings of the sun! Glory to God in the highest! “Blessed is He that cometh in the name of the Lord.” Hallelujah!

As the Music Plays: “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” LORD, here I am in the secret place. God, I’m longing to experience Your warm embrace. As I draw nigh unto You, please draw nigh unto me. Heavenly Father, O how I love Thee!

Feel free to share a song of worship, a praise of thanksgiving, a Psalm of praise and worship, a poem, or whatever the Lord speaks into your heart to share, in the comment box. Please join us next time, for another Praise and Worship Session! Stop what you are doing for just a few moments, to get into the presence of the Lord! Give the Lord a glorious praise. It’s Time for Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! (42) Dec. 5 “Born to Die”

Welcome everyone, to Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! The Holy Scriptures: For if the blood of bulls and goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offer himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (Hebrews 9:13 – 14) Pilate therefore said to him, Are you a king then? Jesus answered, You say that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Every one that is of the truth hears my voice. (John 18:37)

The Call to Worship: "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." O how great love wherewith You loved me, O Lord. You have loved me with an everlasting love, with unconditional love, with agape love. I pour out my love on You, my Lord. I enter Your throne room with heartfelt worship. I bestow upon You now, unfeigned praise.

Jesus, I thank You for salvation, procured through Your precious blood. I humbly bow  before You Lord, ‘neath that crimson flood. You suffered, bled, and died for me; no goodness of my own. I worship with the angels in heaven above, bowed before Your sacred throne. You robed Yourself in flesh, O God, to die on Calvary. You put on sinful flesh, my Lord, to save a wretch like me. Neither the blood of bullocks or any other creature, for my sin did atone. ‘Tis the precious blood of Jesus, the Savior of the world, is efficacious, alone. O, that “fountain filled with blood, drawn from Emmanuel’s veins.” Jesus, You’re the lover of my soul. My heart sings, for ever, He reigns! I thank You for Your cleansing blood, O Lord, which took away my “guilty stain.” Lord, I worship You in this temple, my body, my flesh. I thank You for clothing me, in Your righteousness. I am truly grateful, Lord, for all You’ve done for me. Blessings, glory, and honor to Your name. Thou art worthy, O Lord, Thou art worthy!

As the Music Plays: “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Lord Jesus, I thank You for loving me, in spite of me, for setting my captive soul free. When I was sinking deeply in sin, it was Your love that lifted me. You were born, to die, to save humankind. Thank You Lord, for exchanging, Your life for mine. Hallelujah, what a Savior!

Feel free to share a song of worship, a praise of thanksgiving, a Psalm of praise and worship, a poem, or whatever the Lord speaks into your heart to share in the comment box. Please join us next time, for another Praise and Worship Session! Take a few moments to worship the Lord today. Lift up your voice and your hands in the presence of the Lord. Give Him thanks, for the things He has done! HE’S WORTHY!

It’s Time for Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! (41) Nov. 21

Welcome everyone, to Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! The Holy Scriptures: The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me. (John 1:29 – 30) And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest. (Matthew 21:9) And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God. (John 1:34)

The Call to Worship: O Lord, I praise Thy wondrous and glorious name! Your name is exalted above all names! At Thy name, Lord, every knee shall bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father! Worthy is the Lamb that was slain, to receive honor, and power, and worship, and adoration! Thou art worthy, O Lord, Thou art worthy! Glory to God in the highest!

Who art Thou, Lord, that even the winds and the waves of the sea obey Thy will? Lord, You are my help, my comfort, my strong tower, my strength; You are my heart’s desire! All that I need, I find in You! Lord, You are wondrous, and You’re amazing!  I bless Your holy name. I’ve been redeemed by Your precious shed blood, O Lord, and I am no longer the same. I worship You boldly, most Holy One, bowed down, and  unashamed! Deep down in my heart, my love for You, is as a burning flame! The joy bells are ringing in the city of soul; joy unspeakable and full of glory! My Savior, Jesus, He lives! He lives within my soul! The grave couldn’t hold His body down. He is seated at the right hand of the throne of God, with all power in His hand. Jesus, You are the King of glory; on Christ the solid rock I stand! O, praise ye the LORD! Hallelujah!

As the Music Plays: Lord, You alone deserve all the glory! You are the God of all gods. You are my Savior, my Master, my King! Thank You Lord Jesus, for being my everything. I worship You in the spirit! I lift my hands toward heaven, and I render unto You heartfelt praise and thanksgiving! Thou art worthy, O Lord, Thou art worthy! Glory to God in the highest!

Feel free to share a song of worship, a praise of thanksgiving, a Psalm of praise and worship, a poem, or whatever the Lord speaks into your heart to share in the comment box. It’s Time for Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! (36) Oct. 17

banner-worship-headers (1)

Welcome, everyone, to Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! The Holy Scriptures: But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. For it became him, for whom are all things, in bringing many sons  unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. (Hebrews 2:9 – 10) Be thou exalted, O GOD, above the heavens; let thy glory be above all the earth. (Psalm 57:5) O LORD our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! (Psalm 8:9)

The Call To Worship: Almighty God, You are crowned with glory and honor, and majesty, and strength! All that is in the heavens, and in the earth is Thine, O LORD. You are all in all. You are before all things, and by You all things consist. You are my everything. Without You, O LORD, I am absolutely nothing. It is only in You, LORD, that I live, that I move, and have my being.

Heavenly Father, You are most worthy of honor and  adoration; reverential worship I lavish on You. Not because of anything that You have done for me, LORD, but just because…..just because, You are You! You’re Jehovah God, the Great I Am, Adonai, El Shaddai. You are the Living Bread. You are the Breath of Life, O God; majestic in all of Your ways. In Your presence, I stand truly amazed;  in awe of Your holiness, Your  righteousness, my LORD; O, the wonder of Your omnipotence, Your omnipresence, Your omniscience. Who can attain unto Your judgements, Your wisdom, O God? As high as the heavens are than the earth, so are Your thoughts higher than my thoughts, LORD; and Your ways, higher than my ways. You are the God of all gods. You are the Ancient of Days. Seated on Your heavenly throne, my King, adorned in royal robe, marred with nailed scarred hands, O LORD. O, how You love us so. What is man, that Thou art mindful of him? Or, the son of man, that Thou visitest him?

As The Music Plays: "Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto thy name give glory, for thy mercy, and for thy truth’s sake." Be Thou highly exalted, my LORD, my King. In Your holy presence, my heart doth sing. I worship You today, LORD, just because of who You are. I love You, LORD. I bask in Your Manifest Presence. I glorify Your most holy and marvelous name. O LORD, with my mouth, with my whole heart, with all of me, will I worship You.

Feel free to share a song of worship, a praise of thanksgiving, a Psalm of praise and worship, a poem, or whatever the Lord speaks into your heart to share, in the comment box. Please join us next time, for another Praise and Worship Session! Wherever you are in the world right now, won’t you pause and take a few moments to worship the God of your salvation, the Almighty God? Bless His holy name. He is worthy. Amen.

Come, Now Is the Time to Worship! (John 4:23)

“But the hour cometh, and now is – The old dispensation is about to pass away, and the new one to commence. “Already” there is so much light that God may be worshipped acceptably in any place.

The true worshippers – All who truly and sincerely worship God. They who do it with the heart, and not merely in form.

In spirit – The word “spirit,” here, stands opposed to rites and ceremonies, and to the pomp of external worship. It refers to the “mind,” the “soul,” the “heart.” They shall worship God with a sincere “mind;” with the simple offering of gratitude and prayer; with a desire to glorify him, and without external pomp and splendor. Spiritual worship is that where the heart is offered to God, and where we do not depend on external forms for acceptance.

In truth – Not through the medium of shadows and types, not by means of sacrifices and bloody offerings, but in the manner represented or typified by all these, Hebrews 9:9Hebrews 9:24. In the true way of direct access to God through Jesus Christ.

For the Father seeketh … – Jesus gives two reasons why this kind of worship should take place. One is that God sought it, or desired it. He had appointed the old mode, but he did it because he sought to lead the mind to himself even by those forms, and to prepare the people for the purer system of the gospel, and now he sought or desired that those who worshipped him should worship him in that manner. He intimated his will by Jesus Christ.”

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hebrews 9:9 – Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience.
Hebrews 9:24 – 26 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the truth; but into heaven itself now to appear in the presence of God for us: Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others; For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world hath he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of  himself.
