Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session (6)

Welcome to Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will show forth all thy marvellous works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High. (Psalm 9:1-2) I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most High. (Psalm 7:17) Sing forth the honour of his name: make his praise glorious. (Psalm 66:2) My heart is fixed, O God, my heart is fixed: I will sing and give praise. (Psalm 57:7) Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness. (Psalm 29:2)

God is Holy, and He is righteous! There is none like Him, in all the earth! The whole earth is full of the glory and majesty of God. There is no God like unto our God! He is God Incarnate, Jesus Christ; Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Our God is the God of all creation, and the ruler of all nations! He is the King of kings, and the Lord of lords.

Do you desire to be in the presence of the LORD? He dwells in the midst of our praises! He inhabits our praises. Therefore, give the Lord your very best praise! Worship the Lord in spirit and in truth! Worship Him with a thankful heart! Celebrate Jesus today! I Peter 2:9 says, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”

Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness. God desires that we worship Him out of a pure heart! Present your body as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto Him. Spend time worshiping the Lord in your secret closet, daily. Give God what He wants. In the Old Testament, Abel offered a more excellent sacrifice unto the Lord, than his brother Cain. Abel was a keeper of the sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground. And in the process of time it came to pass, that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the LORD. And Abel, he brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof. And the LORD had respect unto Abel and to his offering: But unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect. Are you rendering a heartfelt offering of worship and praise unto the Lord today? Some people honor God with their lips, but their hearts are far from Him. God is not well pleased. Are you bringing God an offering of worship and praise today, which is from your heart? As the music plays, and as you go before the Lord during the next few moments, prepare your heart for worship. Then offer unto God a sacrifice of worship and praise, which is pleasing unto Him.

Feel free to share a song of worship, a praise of thanksgiving, a Psalm of praise and worship, or whatever the Lord speaks into your heart to share, in the comment box. Please join us next time, for another Praise and Worship Session! Give God a sacrificial offering of worship and praise today, from your heart, your mind, and your soul. Give God your all!
