It’s Time for Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! (40) Nov. 14

Welcome everyone, to Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! The Holy Scriptures: I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. My soul shall make its boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad. (Psalm 34:1 – 2) Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured out into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. (Romans 5:3 – 5) NIV

The Call to Worship: Almighty God, all power in heaven, and in earth, is in Thine hand. You are the creator of all things. At Thy word, the sun, the moon, and the stars hold fast. You are Alpha and Omega. You are the first and the last. I honor You, O Lord. I bless Your excellent name. My hope is in Thee, O God. I will worship Thee alone.

“I love the Lord, He heard my cry, and pitied every grown. Long as I live, and trouble rise, I will hasten to His throne." Lord, even in those times when I feel lost, and kind of blue, Your word echoes in my spirit; holiness, faithfulness, righteousness, and true. No matter what the test, O Lord, I endeavor to be close to You. I put off the spirit of heaviness, and I put on the garment of praise. Lord, here I am to worship You, to honor You, to adore You. With my hands lifted up, and my mouth filled with praise, with a heart of thanksgiving, I will bless Thee, O Lord.” The angels rejoice, and worship around Thy throne. Thou whom the builders rejected, hath become the Chief Cornerstone. Thou art worthy, O Lord. Thou art worthy. I will lift up my voice, like a trumpet with sweet melody. I will sing unto the Lord a new song. Almighty God, You show forth brand new mercies; Your wondrous, and abundant grace. O Lord, please renew my spirit, and let Your glory come, and fill this place. Hallelujah!

As the Music Plays: Heavenly Father, I have a thank You Jesus, a hallelujah, and a glory to God, deep down in my spirit. I worship Your most holy name.  Lord, You alone are worthy. I thank You Jesus, because You have clothed me in Your righteousness. I call You Wonderful, I call You Savior, I call You holy, I call You my everything. I worship You, Lord. Please receive my sacrifice of praise. Please receive it, O Lord, today.

Feel free to share a song of worship, a praise of thanksgiving, a Psalm of praise and worship, a poem, or whatever the Lord speaks into your heart to share, in the comment box. Please join us next time, for another Praise and Worship Session! Take a few moments, to worship the Lord today. Give unto the Lord, the glory due unto His name. He alone deserves the praise! We serve a great, big, wonderful God!

Praying God’s overflowing blessing on all of you, the great family of God–we are related and united, no matter what our differences, because we share the same shed blood of Jesus. 9. In your above beginning words sister Paulette, I sense you are possibly having a “flare-up” or pain. I am praying for you. And I do so agree with your words ” I put off the spirit of heaviness, and I put on the garment of praise. Lord, here I am to worship You, to honor You, to adore You. With my hands lifted up, and my mouth filled with praise, with a heart of thanksgiving, I will bless Thee, O Lord.”
I join you in putting on the ‘garment of praise’!
Beautiful inspiration you are… may He hold you close and still your soul!

Jesus, my deliverer.” As I listened to the song, I could feel the presence of the Lord! Bless His holy name! May the Lord bless you, richly! Enjoy His presence!

  11. I am extremely happy to join this week’s worship session. I am even more pleased to know that I am alive today because of what Jesus did on the cross. He took the rap for me and then he forgave me of my sins. Thanks for sharing Minister Paulette. God blesses..

    • Give Him the glory, Noel! I enjoyed your praise, and your worship offering! He is exalted today! The song is beautiful! Jesus, truly “paid it all! All to Him I owe. Sin had left a crimson stain. He washed it white as snow!” Hallelujah! Thank You Jesus! We just can’t praise Him enough! Thank you so much for sharing such an anointed praise unto the Lord! I was truly blessed! May the power of the Holy Ghost, rest upon you!

  12. Praise The Lord Sister Paulette. This Song Immediately started playing in my spirit as I began to read this Prasie and Worship. Thank You. No matter what I am going through I will Bless the Lord. No Matter in what situation I find myself, I will Bless The Lord. In Grief or in Happiness I will Bless The Lord! In Plenty or in Lack I will Bless The Lord. He’s been good to me and if he never does anything else for me, he’s already done more than I deserve.

    • Bishop Prince, we often quote the Scripture featured above, especially when everything is coming up roses in our lives. However, I can attest to the fact that it is much, much more easily said than done! Thank you so much for joining us in this worship session, and sharing out of your heart! The song you shared was truly uplifting and encouraging to me! What a blessing! May the Lord bless you abundantly, Bishop. (Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.)

      • To God be the Glory for the things that He has done. Thank you Sister Paulette. You have been and continue to be an inspiration to me.

If there is one that I have learned in this life, that is that God is worthy to be praised at all times. The Word of God says…

“In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. (1Thess. 5:18)

And you are absolutely correct in saying that this is easier said than done, However, I am a living witness that if we can make the sacrifice of praise and thanksgiving even when it doesn’t look like we have anything to praise God for, God will inhabit our praises and honor our prayers because He is Faithful.

After over forty-seven years of physical suffering and hardship, I know that we can always count on God.

The eyes of the LORD are on the righteous, and his ears are attentive to their cry… The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles… The righteous person may have many troubles, but the LORD delivers him from them all.

        “Life Hurts but God Heals!”

And this praise shall continually be in my mouth.

        Amen!

        • Amen, and amen! What a word! May the Lord bless you, Bishop Prince! Thank you so much, for blessing us with such an encouraging and powerful word! To God be the glory, for the things He has done!

  13. Praising Him for sooooooooo much! and thanking you for this wonderful time of praise, sharing with brothers and sisters here in blogland.

Oh what a sacrifice you made,
    Your life for mine,
    what an uneven exchange,
You knew that death would be
the price You’d have to pay,
    but despite the cost,
    You paid it anyway.

    The righteous for the unrighteous,
    the Holy for the unholy,
the sinless for a sinner like me,
    the worthy for the unworthy,
    the perfect for the imperfect,
the sinless for a sinner like me.

    The greatest exchange,
    that was ever made,
    as when you came down
    and took my place,
    You took all my sins,
    and gave me Your grace,
    You gave me your life,
just so I could be saved.

    What an amazing exchange!
    What an amazing Saviour!

    • Angela, thank you so much for being here, and glorifying the Lord with us! Oh what a sacrifice Jesus Christ made for us at Calvary! What an uneven exchange! Glory to God! Thank you for suffering vicariously in my place, and for robing me in Your righteousness! Truly, the greatest exchange ever made! What a mighty God we serve!…Thank you, again Angela, for sharing! May the Lord bless you!
