Welcome everyone, to Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! The Holy Scriptures: Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. Wherefore also it is contained in the Scripture, Behold, I lay in Sion a chief corner stone, elect, precious: and he that believeth on him shall not be confounded. (I Peter 2:5 – 6) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light. (I Peter 2:9)
The Call to Worship: Almighty God, I give unto You the glory and the honor, which is due unto Your great name. I worship You, and I praise You, O Lord, because of Your excellent greatness. As I approach the throne of grace, my God, I boldly seek Your face. I magnify You, O Lord, the love of my life; my Master and Savior, my deliverer, Jesus Christ!
O Lord, my God, it is only in Your presence, that I find fullness of joy. At Thy right hand, O Lord, there are pleasures for evermore! You are my only source of real peace, and true happiness; I give glory unto You, the God of all gods, in the highest! Lord Jesus, I love You. I’m always thinking of You. You’re always on my mind. Come rain on a cloudy day, or a day brimming with bright sunshine; when I’m up or down, wearing a smile or a frown, Jesus, You’re at the center of it all. You never leave me nor forsake me, I cast all my cares on You. You are the God of my salvation, my rock in a weary land. When I’m all alone, and in despair, You are there with outstretched hand. You lead me safely to quiet shores, away from the boisterous storms. You are the captain of my life, steering me, leading me, guiding me into all truth and righteousness. I bow in Your presence, Almighty God, in awe of Your holiness. I exalt Thee, O Lord. I worship You from the bottom of my heart, from the depths of my soul, O Lord, my God. I magnify Your holy name. I sing glory hallelujah, all praises to You! I worship You holy King!
As the Music Plays: I thank You, and I praise You Lord, for Your lovingkindness, for Your tender mercies and care; for loving me unconditionally. You commendeth Your love towards me, in that while I was yet a sinner, You died for me. I thank Thee, and I worship Your holy name. "With my hands lifted up, and my mouth filled with praise, with a heart of thanksgiving, I will bless Thee, O Lord." Hallelujah!
