It’s Time for Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! (29) Aug. 29

Welcome to Wednesday’s praise and worship session! The Holy Scriptures: I will extol thee, my God, O king; and I will bless thy name for ever and ever. Every day will I bless thee; and I will praise thy name for ever and ever. (Psalm 145:1 – 2) Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ. (I Peter 2:5) But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. (I Peter 2:9)

Call To Worship: “Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and bless the Lord. The Lord that made heaven and earth bless thee out of Zion.” My heart beats for You only, God, may it never roam. I find joy in Your presence, as I worship at Your throne. I enter the throne room, broken, afflicted. I emerge from Your presence healed. I enter the throne room, void, so empty. I emerge from Your presence filled. Filled with Your spirit, Your anointing, Your peace, Your power. Fill my cup Lord, as I praise Thee, this very hour.

“I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will show forth all thy marvelous works. I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.” Not from the lips of me, but from the heart of me; I give You praise dear Lord, for all You’ve done for me. I’m so unworthy, of Your blessings. I want to thank You, from the bottom of my heart. For me You’ve made a way, turned midnight into day. When skies were dark and drear, Your presence was so near. I give You glory, a debt I owe. I want to thank You, from the bottom of my heart. O Lord, my soul You saved; for me Your life You gave. You died on Calvary, to save a wretch like me. I don’t deserve, such sacrifice. Lord, I thank You, from the bottom of my heart. For abiding love, for guidance from above, for abiding protection, for strength and direction. For abiding peace, may my praises never cease. Lord, I thank You, from the bottom of my heart. O Lord, thank You, from the bottom of my heart!

As The Music Plays: “Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable.” It’s time to praise the Lord! He’s my exceeding great reward! I sing Blessed be the name, Blessed be the name of the Lord. Our God, He is holy, He is righteous. His ways are past finding out. Worship Him, praise Him, honor Him with a shout! Shout unto the Lord, with the voice of triumph! Praise Him, in His holy hill!

Feel free to share a song of worship, a praise of thanksgiving, a Psalm of praise and worship, a poem, or whatever the Lord speaks into your heart to share, in the comment box. Please join us next time, for another Praise and Worship Session! Take a few moments to give the Lord praise today. He’s the King of glory, He’s the great I Am! Worship Him! Honor Him with praise; the fruit of your lips, giving thanks unto His great name! God alone is worthy. No one else deserves the same!

Lately God has been giving me many reasons to be thankful. I am so very grateful for what He has done and continues to do in my life. I lift my hands in praise to our great King.

This one has been in my head for a while now…. thought I’d share.

  4. Song: True Praise

    True praise,
    I want to give You
    True Praise.
Not just from the lips of me,
only from the heart of me,
    True Praise.
    Not just for the melody,
    not just for wonderful harmony,
    but True Praise…
Is what I want to offer You,
I want to offer You True Praise.

Not for the crown that You give me,
as I try to run this race,
I want to behold Your face,
I want to thank You for Your saving grace,
but most of all I want to give You Praise.
For the rest of my eternal life,
    I want to give You
    ‘HALLELUJAH’, ‘THANK YOU, JESUS’, and ALL THE GLORY;
TRUE PRAISE, IS WHAT I WANT TO OFFER YOU
I WANT TO OFFER YOU TRUE PRAISE!

    • Real, true, genuine Praise is what I want to offer God today! Here lately, He has been showing me ME! It’s one thing for others to see a change in you, but God has been showing me that I’m not the same – I HAVE BEEN CHANGED! He has been showing me that if I continue to be obedient and seek Him, there is nothing that He will withhold from me! I see now that what I thought were setbacks were actually SET-UPS by God to get me to the place I am today. My tears of pain have now turned into tears of joy! Doors that were locked are now being opened for me! And I know that it is because of the Almighty God! With God, ALL things are possible and with Him I find my strength, joy, peace, comfort, healing, deliverance, . . . Any and everything I need, GOD IS! And today, I want to offer praise to God for all He has done and to worship Him for Who He is and has been to me! “Because of who You are I give You Glory!”

      • Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord! “Consider the Lilies, How They Grow!” My, how you have grown in the Lord! You are truly called, anointed, and appointed by God! Yes, sometimes those growing pains are necessary for the Lord to bring out of us, all that He has placed within us! Glory to God! Yes, you were set up, and it has truly worked out for your good, because I know that you truly love the Lord! In the presence of the Lord, you’ve been changed! Glory to God!

    • “True Praise”

The sentiment of my heart! True praise, is what I want to offer unto the Lord! I want my life to be a praise unto Him! All of me, I sacrifice unto Thee, O Lord!…Crystal, what a tremendous blessing! I haven’t heard this song in quite a while! I was so glad to find it this morning! I have been listening, praising and giving God the glory, and strolling down memory lane! Such a blessing! I am simply overwhelmed! We had awesome praise and worship during those services, back in the day! God was in the midst of us! I found an older version with the choir singing live. I’ll have to share that one with Gerry! Praise God! Thank you so much for being here, and for sharing this wonderful praise offering unto the Lord! Enjoy His presence!

    • Bless His holy name! I am so grateful, to have Christ in my life! What would my life be without Him?….Shian, God bless you! Thank you so much for joining us in this worship session! I’m always glad to see you here, giving God the praise! Truly, He’s worthy! Enjoy His presence, today and always!

It’s so encouraging to know that God is for me! He is the God of more than enough! Glory to God! I’ll be adding this song to my library! Thank you! May the Lord bless you today! Enjoy His presence!

  6. Psalm 96:1-2 “Sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth. Sing to the LORD, praise his name; proclaim his salvation day after day.” I praise our Faithful God for His abundant love and mercy towards. I can do nothing without giving Him praises! Thank you sister Paulette for leading us in this amazing time of worship!

    • Lord, may I be an instrument of worship and praise unto Thee! Please, allow Your spirit to sing through me, a new song unto Thee! I give You praise!

Stephanie, I’m so glad you joined us in this worship session! I was blessed by your praise! I’m so grateful for God’s faithfulness unto me! I don’t deserve it, yet He remains faithful! Praise God! The song is beautiful! Truly, worship IS everything! God be glorified! “I live to glorify my King!” May the Lord bless you, as you worship Him in spirit and in truth!

  7. “I will sing unto the Lord as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being. My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the Lord” (Psalm 104:33-34).

Thank you so much Minister Paulette for another opportunity to participate in this Wednesday Praise and Worship Session. I pray that the Lord will continue to bless and keep you.

  8. At God’s perfect timing
    Christ died for sinful men.
He wore a crown of thorns,
    Nails driven through His hands.
    Christ willingly endured it;
To death He chose to go.
He broke His body for us,
Shed blood to make us whole.

    Nothing can I boast in:
My life is scarred with sin.
    My works are filthy rags:
    No merit can I bring.
    Yet mercy filled Christ’s heart;
Love took Him to the tree.
    It’s grace alone which saves me;
Christ’s blood that sets me free.

What an amazing God! How can we do other than praise Him, love Him and serve Him faithfully? And yet, even that is only due to Him and His work in us. It is ALL about Him! Thank You, thank You, thank You for Your great love, mercy and grace and for Your countless blessings and the abundant life You so freely give.

    • When I think of the goodness of Jesus, and all He has done for me, my soul cries out hallelujah! I truly praise God for saving a wretch like me! Angela, thank you so much for reminding us of all that our Savior suffered vicariously, on Calvary’s cross!-Lord, You took my place on that cross! What a Savior!-I’m so grateful for the efficacy of the precious blood of the Lamb, His atoning sacrifice! Jesus, the fullness of the Godhead bodily! Angela, if I may quote you, “What an amazing God!” God bless you, and enjoy His presence, always!

  9. Gosh the song “Holy Spirit come fill this place” might be on replay for a while! Thank God for His people who are passionate enough to serve Him without reservations. Who can hide His greatness? There’s no one! Who can deny Him His praise? Certainly not me!

God be magnified in our lives. Let us decrease and You increase in our lives, amen. Let us abide under Your shadow, Your anointing. We will continually offer You praises for who You are forever and ever, amen! 🙂

    • It’s wonderful to have you here worshiping with us! I’m so glad you enjoyed the song. Truly, it’s all about Jesus, and worshiping Him in spirit and in truth! The song served as a prayer, that the Lord would be in our midst in a tangible way! He never lets us down! Glory to God!…We give God unfeigned praise because we love Him! He’s worthy of our praise and our worship! There’s NOBODY greater!…Your praise offering was wonderful! Thank you so much for the prayer! God be glorified! May God bless you, as you offer unto Him heartfelt praises!

    • I’m always glad to see you here, worshiping the Lord Jesus Christ! His goodness is mind-boggling! Thank You Lord! What a Savior Jesus is! Love to you and yours!

  10. I’m here late, but so thankful to get to worship through all the comments, songs and praise! Thank you for being our praise and worship leader Paulette . . .for such a sweet offering to Him, even in your pain. It makes me cry as does the song, Thank You, Lord . . .and all the others! Thank You Jesus for drawing close to us, for receiving our praise and worship . .. for ministering to us as we lift up Your name.

    Lord, You are our salvation
    our faith’s foundation
    perfect in all ways
    Holy Lamb of God.

    Jesus, You are our Life
our only hope is to abide
    in Your perfect love
our Holy, Holy Lamb of God.

    • The message which was delivered before the song, was amazing! When I was replying to a comment earlier, the thought had come to mind, that if the presence of the Lord was not here, there would be no reason for us to gather here, because it’s all about Jesus, it’s all about Him! Imagine my surprise when my thoughts were literally given a voice at the beginning of your song offering! What an awesome, awesome God we serve! I just love Him so! I praise Him, because He’s been so faithful! Glory to God!

Thank you so much, encouraging Debbie! Your poem is beautiful! Such a lovely offering unto the Lord! Whenever you arrive at the praise and worship sessions, it’s always the right time! 🙂 Thank you for always lifting up the name of Jesus, and glorifying the Lord in this place! Enjoy His presence!

    • Hello Kate,

God bless you, richly! I’m so glad you are touched and inspired by the praise and worship! Keeping Jesus at my center, and placing Him front and center in the lives of others, is my goal! Praise the Lord! Thank you so much for thinking of me, and blessing me with the awards! I must give all glory and praise to God. I will visit your blog later on today! Thank you so much, again! 🙂

    • Thank you so much for nominating me for this award! What a blessing! You are so kind! 🙂 To God be the glory and praise! He alone is worthy! Congratulations to you, as well! May the Lord bless you!

  11. MY MORNDAY ,,HI TOO MY FRIENDS BE BLESSET IN THE LORD,,,,SIS DOT…………………………………….“What a glorious Lord! He who daily bears our burdens also gives us our salvation” Psalm 68:19

Did it ever occur to you that you are disobeying God when you carry your own burdens, when you are worried, frustrated and confused over circumstances? That is exactly what God’s Word says.

In 1 Peter 5:7, God gives a specific command to His children, “Cast…all your cares upon Him; for He careth for you“. Not to cast all of one’s cares upon the Lord is to disobey Him and to deny oneself that supernatural walk with God among men.

Is it not logical to believe that He who loved us so much that He was willing to give His only begotten Son would also be faithful to keep His promise to bear our burdens daily?

As the psalmist so aptly states, the Lord bears our burdens on a daily basis for the believer, the day will never come when God fails to carry our load, to strengthen us, to impart power to us through His indwelling Holy Spirit – if we but ask.

Marvel of marvels, the psalmist points out, our heavenly Father not only is our great burden-bearer; He is also the very one who gives us our salvation and the assurance of eternal life. How could anyone ask for more!

With the sure knowledge that our sins are forgiven (salvation) and the assurance that He knows all about every burden we face – more important, He bears them for us – our lives should reflect honor and glory to Him by the way in which we share His blessings and the message of His great love with others.

Provision for the supernatural life is promised in the Old Testament as well as the New, as evidenced by this glorious promise in the Psalms

    • Amen, Sister Dot. Thank you so much for sharing out of God’s Word, in this place! What a privilege to carry all of our burdens to the LORD! Praise God! The word was rich, and very encouraging! I read a very similar word from the Lord at Ann’s place, earlier today! Thank you so much for sharing out of your heart, what the Lord has placed within you! May the Lord bless you and keep you. May He make His face to shine upon you!
