It’s Time for Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! (23) July 18

Welcome to Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! The Holy Scriptures: O come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; Let us shout joyfully to the rock of our salvation. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms. For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hands are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land. O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker. For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. (Psalm 95:1 – 7)

Call To Worship: “The Lord is great and deserves our greatest praise! He is the only God worthy of our worship.” Lord, early will I seek after Thee. I seek an audience with You. O, to be in Your presence, Lord. There’s a longing in my heart to worship only You; to give You all the glory which is due. “Like the dew in the morning, gently rest upon my heart.” I offer the sacrifice of praise unto You, mighty God, how great Thou art. “Take joy, my King, in what You hear. May it be a sweet, sweet sound in Your ear.” Receive my offering, from the altar of my heart! Please, receive it, Lord, today.

“Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You. My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord, and all flesh shall bless his holy name for ever and ever.” As I forget about myself, Lord, I place my focus on You. I’ve come to give You the glory and honor, as I pour all my love out on You. Lord, You’re the best friend, that I’ve ever known. You’re always there; You’ve never left me alone. You sanctified me; called me Your own. With my heart bowed down, I worship You alone. You’re the center of my joy, the love of my life. To save a wretch like me You became, the ultimate sacrifice. O worthy is the Lamb that was slain! You loosed all my shackles; cleansed every stain! One day, for me, You’re coming again! Hallelujah! O, what a Savior You are to me! You are worthy of worship and praise from my heart! I’ve come to worship Thee. O LORD, here I am to worship Thee! With my hands lifted up, and my mouth filled with praise, I’ve come to worship Thee.

As The Music Plays: Lord, I shall never forget what You’ve done for me. “I was sinking deep in sin, far from the peaceful shore. Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more. But the Master of the sea, heard my despairing cry. From the waters lifted me, now safe am I!” Lord, I’m so grateful for Your love that lifted me up; unconditional, undeserved. Hallelujah! Thank You Jesus! I celebrate You, Lord,  today. I worship You, Holy King!

Feel free to share a song of worship, a praise of thanksgiving, a Psalm of praise and worship, a poem, or whatever the Lord speaks into your heart to share, in the comment box. Please join us next time, for another Praise and Worship Session! Take a few moments to get into the presence of the Lord today. Worship Him, from the depths of your soul! Because of His wondrous sacrifice, we’ve been made whole! Hallelujah! Glorify the Lord today! He’s worthy! Don’t you agree?

  1. Hi Paulette–Praise the LORD!! May He bless you abundantly, and everyone here at Wednesday Worship–and here’s my offering to Him:

    His Love, Unfailing

    His love, unfailing:
    Lost, I fall into His arms—
    I’m rescued again.
    His mercy and grace—flowers
    That bloomed from Calvary’s tree.

    His garland of love—
    Red and white roses, fragrance
    Of His purity.
    Undeserved favor, honor
    With these, He blesses His own.

    His love, enduring—
    I lean into His heart, and
    Feel my soul renewed.
    My spirit soars, sings praises—
    Always, I’ll thank Him—Jesus.

      Such a beautiful offering of worship, unto Jesus Christ, the Lord of your life! Bless His holy name! Heartfelt worship, touches the very heart of God! May it be as a sweet aroma of perfume unto Him! What a blessing, Caddo! I love the way your offering, is merged into the very fabric of this worship today! The underlying theme being the unconditional, undeserved love of our Savior! Praise God! God bless you, as you worship Him today!

  2. Oh Paulette, I love both these songs! The first one is new to me (When I Think About the Lord), but I’m familiar with Pour My Love On You–wonderfully refreshing to my spirit. Thank you so much. God bless you!

    • “What kind of love would bear my sins; redeem my soul from all of them; to call an enemy a friend? This love I cannot comprehend. Jesus did it all for me. Yes He’s the one of whom I speak. His sacrifice was Oh so great. His mission was to save. So He died on Calvary. Just for me! He took my penalty. He rose again with all power. He’s alive this very hour. Just for me!”

      Awesome worship, Bishop Prince! I could feel the presence of God, as my spirit was stirred to worship the Lord! Bless His holy name! Hallelujah, what a Savior Jesus is! Your worship song was beautiful, and such a blessing! Thank you so much! Bask in His presence, today!

  6. Thank you so much Minister Paulette, for allowing me to participate in another Wednesday Praise and Worship Session. It feels good to be among God’s people. Bless the Lord oh my soul.
    Today I would like to share Psalm 34. Some Biblical scholar believe David wrote this Psalm from his cave where he was hiding from king Saul, who wanted to kill him.

    I will bless the Lord at all times;
    His praise shall continually be in my mouth.
    2 My soul shall make its boast in the Lord;
    The humble shall hear of it and be glad.
    3 Oh, magnify the Lord with me,
    And let us exalt His name together.
    4 I sought the Lord, and He heard me,
    And delivered me from all my fears.
    5 They looked to Him and were radiant,
    And their faces were not ashamed.
    6 This poor man cried out, and the Lord heard him,
    And saved him out of all his troubles.
    7 The angel[a] of the Lord encamps all around those who fear Him,
    And delivers them.
    8 Oh, taste and see that the Lord is good;
    Blessed is the man who trusts in Him!
    9 Oh, fear the Lord, you His saints!
    There is no want to those who fear Him.
    10 The young lions lack and suffer hunger;
    But those who seek the Lord shall not lack any good thing.
    11 Come, you children, listen to me;
    I will teach you the fear of the Lord.
    12 Who is the man who desires life,
    And loves many days, that he may see good?
    13 Keep your tongue from evil,
    And your lips from speaking deceit.
    14 Depart from evil and do good;
    Seek peace and pursue it.
    15 The eyes of the Lord are on the righteous,
    And His ears are open to their cry.
    16 The face of the Lord is against those who do evil,
    To cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
    17 The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears,
    And delivers them out of all their troubles.
    18 The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart,
    And saves such as have a contrite spirit.
    19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous,
    But the Lord delivers him out of them all.
    20 He guards all his bones;
    Not one of them is broken.
    21 Evil shall slay the wicked,
    And those who hate the righteous shall be condemned.
    22 The Lord redeems the soul of His servants,
    And none of those who trust in Him shall be condemned.

    • Bless the Lord, oh my soul. Bless the Lord, oh my soul. Bess the Lord, oh my soul. Bless the Lord. I will bless Your name! The Lord is holy, mighty, righteous, worthy! Bless the Lord! You are awesome!

      “Blessed be the name of the Lord, He is worthy to be praised and adored! Let us lift up holy hands with one accord, singing blessed be the name of the Lord!” Surely our God is worthy of awesome praise! Glory to God! Thank you so much, Noel, for sharing your heart; for rendering heartfelt worship unto our God, in this place! Surely, our God is awesome! He can move mountains! Bless the Lord! We will bless the name of the Lord! God bless you, as you lift His name high!

  7. Thank you, Jesus, for the privilege of us getting to come and worship You, to meet You here. Thank you for our praise and worship leader, Paulette, who avails herself to You and to us, to make a place for us to gather and lift Your name.

    You are great
    and greatly to be praised
    higher than the heavens
    lifted up and raised
    out from the grave
    brightly shining as the sun
    exalted and marvelous
    our Holy only One!

    love and prayers!

    • Our God has done great things for us, whereof we are so glad! We’ve come to give Him the glory, and the honor! We’ve come to give Him the praise! Glory to God! He is a wonder in my soul! Yes He is!

  9. “In his hands are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also. The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.” What a powerful Scripture Paulette! Our congregation got stuck on this song for twenty minutes yesterday!

    • Glory to God! Sounds like the power of God fell in a marvelous way, in the service! Yes, the name of the Lord is a strong tower, the righteous run therein and are safe! Oh, that men would tap into the resource of the name of Jesus, more and more and more! I’m so glad you stopped by to sing the Lord’s praises! He’s worthy! God bless you, Pastor J!
