Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! (17) May 30

Welcome to Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! The Holy Scriptures:  Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; and his greatness is unsearchable. One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts. I will speak of the glorious honour of thy Majesty, and of thy wondrous works. (Psalm 145:3-5) The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy. The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works. All thy works shall praise thee, O LORD; and thy saints shall bless thee. They shall speak of the glory of thy kingdom, and talk of thy power; To make known to the sons of men his mighty acts, and the glorious majesty of his kingdom. (Psalm 145:8-11)

Call to Worship: “Glorify the Lord! Praise His holy name! Let the trumpet sound, let the bells ring! We’ve been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb! Praise His holy name! Everybody sing! God is holy, and He’s worthy; we worship, we worship Him!” I glorify Your name, O LORD, I glorify Your name. As I bow my heart before You today, please receive my worship, and have Thine own way.

“I love You. I love You Lord today, because You care for me, in such a special way. I praise You. I lift You up. I magnify Your name. That’s why my heart is filled with praise. My heart, my mind, my soul belongs to You. You paid the price for me, way back on Calvary. I praise You. I lift You up. I magnify Your name. That’s why my heart is filled with praise!” God You are good. Your mercy endureth for ever. I praise You for Your bountiful blessings; for Your excellent greatness. I praise You, because Your truth endureth for ever. You are my Healer, my Comforter, my Guiding Light; my Bright Morning Star. Whatever I need You to be O Lord, that is just what You are! Jesus, You are all the world to me; my joy in sorrow, my hope for tomorrow. The Lifter of my head. For the longing in my soul, O God, You are the Living Bread. Water when I’m thirsty, Shelter in a storm; My Rock in a weary land. When the earth all around me is sinking sand, You are there with outstretched hand. I praise You. I lift You up. I magnify Your name. That’s why my heart is filled with praise.

As the music plays: Lord, I thank You, and I honor You. I bless Your holy name. I’ve come to give You the glory. Only You know my story. As I enter Your presence armed with a praise, I celebrate You, and Your righteous ways! You’ve imparted Your righteousness unto me. I’m truly grateful, and so unworthy! I come unashamed, worshiping now. Please receive my worship. LORD, receive it today.

Feel free to share a song of worship, a praise of thanksgiving, a Psalm of praise and worship, or whatever the Lord speaks into your heart to share, in the comment box. Please join us next time, for another Praise and Worship Session! LORD, may I not be the same, after having been in Your presence. In Jesus’ name! Worthy is the Lamb!

  1. Hi Sister Paulette! That is a lovely song for this glorious day. I’ve been listening to Dietrick Haddon’s new album and I thought this song was awesome. Hope you like it. It’s called Incomplete.

    God bless you today!
    Sherline 😀

    • “A symphony without the strings, a melody without the beat. Incomplete! Without the Lord’s sacrifice on Calvary, without His forgiveness, what would I be?” Incomplete. I’m so glad He sent His Son to save us! Powerful song, Sherline! Dietrick Haddon is an anointed praise and worship leader. I enjoy the music that flows from him. Thank you for sharing a wonderful song of worship unto our God! May His anointing power rest upon you today.

I am so glad the Lord completed the work of salvation on Calvary! “He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet on a rock, and established my goings. And he has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.”

    • “Holy, holy; Lord You’re worthy. And I’m honored to sing Your praise. King of glory, God Almighty; hallowed be Thy name. All creation, every nation, has its being by Your word. As it is up in heaven, let it be done here on earth.”

Thanks so much, Francine! Our God is awesome! Only at Thy word, O God. Only at Thy word! Our God is holy, He’s righteous, and He is wonderful! Bless His holy name! Enjoy His presence today!

    • Ron Kenoly – my favourite old school worship leader from back in the day. Had the opportunity of sharing in a live worship experience led by him in the 90’s. Thanks for reminding me of those times with Papa.

      God bless you,
      ann

You alone are worthy of ALL praise and glory. May we always lift up and glorify Your name alone.
    amen.

  4. Wow, what a beautiful beautiful song from that young man, for our God! Thank you for sharing, Paulette, so I didn’t miss out on something good! I just have a short little tanka poem to bring today–it is part of a trio Jesus brought to my heart when I was in the laundry room this week:

    He is my worship–
    Heart of reverential Joy.
    I yearn, lean toward Him–
    “Renew my spirit, Father
That I may serve, and please, You”.
    (Caddo Veil, 2012)

God bless you abundantly today, Paulette–and all of our brethren who come together in worship of Him. love, sis Caddo

    • Worthy is the Lamb, to receive glory and honor and power! Your heartfelt worship is wonderful. I would like to read the other parts of the trio, because this part was definitely a blessing! I’m glad you enjoyed this week’s video. There is a great anointing on Jotta’s life!

Please send the link from your blog, for the poem you shared. Thank you so much for being such a blessing today! Love, Paulette

  5. Thank you and God bless you, Praising Paulette, for leading us in worship today . . .for calling us to gather in His Holy name. I read and listen and then just cry. Can’t help it! Thank you Lord, for being here in this place, for understanding our desire to worship You and praise You . . .for we want to touch You Jesus. You have done everything for us. We want to honor You right now Lord and give You praise.
Who do we have Lord, but You . . just You?
Who else shows Himself strong like You do?
Who else loves us enough to die
    listens to our every cry
there is no one else, Lord, no one else, but You.

    • Praising and Encouraging Debbie, once again, you have filled this place with worship. Certainly, the glory of the Lord is in this place! Surely you have touched the heart of God, and you have blessed us with your offering unto Him! May the fragrance of His presence, rest upon you now, as you worship Him with all that is within you.

I love Thee O Lord, with my whole heart. I render unto You the sacrifice of praise. I render unto You, true worship. You alone are worthy of all the praise, all the honor, and all the glory!

  6. Thank you for a great time of worship Paulette. As I read your post and read through the comments, my heart lifted in praise to our almighty God and to our Saviour. How can we do other than praise Him? How can we do other than to lay our lives before Him, surrendering all to Him. We cannot lose, because His love is so great and He extends it to us so freely and abundantly. He alone is worthy of our praise and He has mine.

    What an amazing God!

    • What an awesome praise unto our God! He is the only true and living God! Where else can we go, but to the Lord? He’s our everything; He is our all and all! We are nothing without Him! Angela, you have stirred a praise in me. When I just think on His goodness and His kindness, my soul cries out hallelujah! Glory to God! Wonderful Jesus! Thank you so much, for joining the worship session! Your praise offerings always point my heart towards Him!

  7. Lord, I am thirsty, hungry, desperate for Your presence! Let there be less of me, and more of You, less of me, and more of You! I am thirsty! Enjoy the presence of the Lord today!
