With God All Things Are Possible

In Genesis 18:14, God posed the question, “Is anything too hard for the Lord?” When Abram was ninety and nine years old, the Lord appeared unto him and made a covenant between Himself and Abram. God told Abram He would multiply him exceedingly. Even though he was ninety nine years old, God told him he would be the father of many nations, which was why He changed his name from Abram to Abraham. At ninety nine years of age, God told him he would make him exceeding fruitful. God also spoke a word to him about his wife Sarai, and He told him to change her name to Sarah, because He was going to bless her, and give him a son also of her, and  that she would be a mother of nations. Then, Abraham fell upon his face, and laughed, and said in his heart, “Shall a child be born unto him, that is an hundred years old, and shall Sarah that is ninety years old, bear?” At one point, Sarah also laughed within herself about the idea of them bearing a child, after she had waxed old. However, the Lord spoke once again, and said unto them, “At the time appointed, I will return unto thee, according to the time of  life, and Sarah shall have a son.”

It was apparent, that neither Abraham nor Sarah, thought it possible to bear a child after they had waxed old. God revealed unto them, that nothing was too hard for Him, and that He was able to do things thought impossible! “And the LORD visited Sarah as He had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as He had spoken. For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time, of which God had spoken to him. And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto  him, Isaac.”

The promises of God, are yea and amen. If He spoke it, it shall come to pass. We must hold on to the promises of God, in spite of our situations, and no matter how long it takes for the promises to come to fruition! We too must believe that nothing is too hard for God! If we don’t have it already, we must develop faith as a grain of mustard seed, because that kind of faith can move mountains! Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. We must learn how to believe what we don’t see, until God brings it to pass. Now that’s faith! We must call those things that are not, as though they were. God’s Word says, the power of life and death, are in the tongue. I speak life to every “dead” situation in our lives! God is a healer, a way maker, a provider, a friend in the midnight hour, and whatever you need Him to be. Without faith, it is impossible to please God, for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Have faith in God, for with God all things are possible! Trust in the Lord to answer your prayers. If you abide in Him, and His words abide in you, ye shall ask with you will, and it shall be done unto you! With God, all things are possible! Are you dealing with a seemingly impossible situation?

Are you at the end of your rope? Don’t just tie a knot and hang on. Turn it over to Jesus! James 5:16 says, “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” Ephesians 3:20 says, “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.” Father, I know that You are the God of “impossible” situations, and that You can do anything to fail. I turn every trial, every tribulation and every dilemma, over to You. Even when doctors have given up on us, we know that You are the Great Physician, and man’s extremity is God’s opportunity! Work a work in our lives today God, and save the unsaved! Give them a mind to cry out, what must I do to be saved! Help us to draw nigh unto You God, that You would draw nigh unto us. Help us to have faith as a grain of mustard seed. God, I give You the praise, the glory, and the honor that is due unto Your great name! I thank You for answering every prayer, and for working out every seemingly impossible situation in our lives today, is Your great name, Jesus I pray. Amen! May the Lord bless you abundantly, today and everyday.
