It’s Time for Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! (42) Dec. 5 “Born to Die”

Welcome everyone, to Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! The Holy Scriptures: For if the blood of bulls and goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, sanctifieth to the purifying of the flesh: how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offer himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God? (Hebrews 9:13 – 14) Pilate therefore said to him, Are you a king then? Jesus answered, You say that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Every one that is of the truth hears my voice. (John 18:37)

The Call to Worship: "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends." O how great love wherewith You loved me, O Lord. You have loved me with an everlasting love, with unconditional love, with agape love. I pour out my love on You, my Lord. I enter Your throne room with heartfelt worship. I bestow upon You now, unfeigned praise.

Jesus, I thank You for salvation, procured through Your precious blood. I humbly bow  before You Lord, ‘neath that crimson flood. You suffered, bled, and died for me; no goodness of my own. I worship with the angels in heaven above, bowed before Your sacred throne. You robed Yourself in flesh, O God, to die on Calvary. You put on sinful flesh, my Lord, to save a wretch like me. Neither the blood of bullocks or any other creature, for my sin did atone. ‘Tis the precious blood of Jesus, the Savior of the world, is efficacious, alone. O, that “fountain filled with blood, drawn from Emmanuel’s veins.” Jesus, You’re the lover of my soul. My heart sings, for ever, He reigns! I thank You for Your cleansing blood, O Lord, which took away my “guilty stain.” Lord, I worship You in this temple, my body, my flesh. I thank You for clothing me, in Your righteousness. I am truly grateful, Lord, for all You’ve done for me. Blessings, glory, and honor to Your name. Thou art worthy, O Lord, Thou art worthy!

As the Music Plays: “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Lord Jesus, I thank You for loving me, in spite of me, for setting my captive soul free. When I was sinking deeply in sin, it was Your love that lifted me. You were born, to die, to save humankind. Thank You Lord, for exchanging, Your life for mine. Hallelujah, what a Savior!

Feel free to share a song of worship, a praise of thanksgiving, a Psalm of praise and worship, a poem, or whatever the Lord speaks into your heart to share in the comment box. Please join us next time, for another Praise and Worship Session! Take a few moments to worship the Lord today. Lift up your voice and your hands in the presence of the Lord. Give Him thanks, for the things He has done! HE’S WORTHY!

  1. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” This verse continues to amaze me. In a world where we praise those who ‘did it themselves’ to think Jesus requires nothing from me but a willing, accepting heart. He knows my faults and loves me inspite of them! Thanks Paulette! God Bless.

    • I stand in awe of Him! That He would love us so, is so amazing! That God would robe Himself in flesh that He might die in my place, leaves me searching for words to express my gratitude unto Him! Glory to God!… Mike, thank you so much for being here, and sharing in this session! Your worship unto the Lord is wonderful, and truly a blessing! I’m so glad that God looked beyond my faults, and saw the need in my life! May the Lord bless you, as you worship Him today!

  2. Hello Minister Paulette! It feels good to take part in your weekly praise and worship session. I am proud to say I am a child of the King of kings. My desire is to live for Him and worship Him in spirit and in truth.
He has been good to me every step of the way thus far. Yes, I have had my share of ups and downs but through it all, I have learned to trust Him. Life on earth is not a bed of rose, but this world is not my home. I look forward for the day when I will join him in heaven where I will sing “Holy, Holy. Lord God Almighty.

    • O, give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good! His mercy endureth forever! Praise the Lord, Noel! I enjoyed your testimony! What a savior Jesus is! He never leaves us, nor forsakes us! We can cast our cares upon Him, because He cares for us! Thank you for sharing the song. There is something about that name, Jesus! May the Lord bless you today, as you enjoy the presence of His glory!

  3. All praise, glory, and honor to the Lamb of God! Oh how I love the holy Lamb of God! Thank You Lord Jesus, for washing me in your precious blood, for loving me in spite of me! Oh how I love Thee, O Lord!

  4. Hallelujah! I Love You Oh Lord and I echo this prayer with my sister in the name of Jesus Christ:

This is our prayer in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!

    • Lord, we lift Your name on high! Lord, we love to sing Your praises! Praise the Lord, Bishop Prince! I’m so glad you enjoyed this week’s featured worship song! I have listened to that song over and over again! It is such a blessing! I’m so grateful for Crimson love. “Shameful sin, was placed on Him. The hope of every man.” What a savior Jesus is!….Thank you so much, for sharing the worship offerings! I was blessed, truly! I enjoyed the medley of songs! The blood that Jesus shed, will never, never lose its power! Glory, glory, glory! Enjoy His presence!

    • By the way…the peices of paper represent the prayers of the people, and the Holy Spirit. In Israel, they stuff their prayers on pieces of paper in the cracks in the wailing wall.

      • Lyn, thanks so much for sharing today! Thank you for always steering our hearts and minds toward Israel! May the Lord bless you, abundantly! Enjoy His presence!

        • You’re more than welcome. Thank you, dear Paulette, for everything you do for our Father. I am glad you liked the video. The thing so many don’t realize is that once we are saved by the blood of Jesus, we are adopted..which means we become one in the same with His firstborn, Israel. So whatever happens to them, spiritually speaking, happens to us. I just hope that soon, many of the people over there will proclaim Jesus Christ as their Savior and turn to Him. God bless you.

    • The worship offerings have been beautiful today! I’m enjoying the way the songs are lifting Jesus up, and encouraging the brethren, as well! Yes, God is still able! And, “I won’t go back! I’ve been changed, healed, freed, delivered. I found joy, peace, grace, and favor. I’ve been changed in the presence of the Lord!” Praise the Lord!…Sherline, I’m so glad that you are here with us today, worshiping the Savior, and glorifying Him! He’s a wonder, yes He is! Thank you so much for blessing us today with your worship offerings! Enjoy His presence!

    • My my! If it had not been for the Lord loving me (loving us) when I was unlovable, a wretch undone, where would I be? He loved me, (He loved us) with His life!… Such a beautiful song, Patricia! Thank you so much, for sharing it! May the Lord bless you abundantly, as you bask in His presence today!
