Welcome to Wednesday’s Praise and Worship Session! The Holy Scriptures: It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying For he is good; for his mercy endureth forever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD; So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God. (II Chronicles 5:13 – 14 )
Call To Worship: “Let my mouth be filled with Your praise and with Your glory all the day.” Lord, with my whole heart, will I seek after Thee. It is in Your holy presence, Lord, that I long to be. I crown You with worship and praise today, as I bow down before You, and I humbly pray; in the presence of the Lord, please God, have Thine own way.
“Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.” Heavenly Father, that which my heart desires, will I seek after, unrestrainedly. My heart desires You, O Lord, my heart, it yearns for Thee. Hear my humble cry, Lord, please hear my earnest plea. I desperately seek Your Face, Your presence; O, just to behold Your glory! I lift my eyes toward heaven, Lord, as unto You I draw nigh, bringing effervescent praise, with my hands upraised, to the King of Kings, O Thou Most High!
As The Music Plays: Almighty God and King; what a privilege to dwell in Your midst, and O, what joy it brings. Lord, “I will praise thee with my whole heart: before the gods will I sing praise unto thee.” Bow in His presence. Render unto the Lord the sacrifice of praise. Honor Him, extol Him; sing unto the Lord a new song! Give Him thanks! Worship the Lord, O ye His saints!
Feel free to share a song of worship, a praise of thanksgiving, a Psalm of praise and worship, a poem, or whatever the Lord speaks into your heart to share, in the comment box. Please join us next time, for another Praise and Worship Session! Won’t you pause to spend a few moments in the presence of the Lord today; to worship Him, to praise Him for His goodness and mercy, to say thank You Lord for being my ever-present helper, to glorify Him? He’s worthy!
May the Lord bless you, Lyn! Thank you, for providing inspiration for those who will visit this worship session!
You’re welcome Paulette! God bless you!

It did not detract from the beauty of your poem, and message at all!
Oh how He loves me, let me count the ways, innumerable , immeasurable! His love is unmatched! I am so grateful, that He loves me! There are so many reasons for Him not to, but He looks beyond all of them, and loves me still! ….Your worship offering is beautiful! Such a lovely flow!

Such an anointed offering! I was blessed tremendously! I can just imagine how the presence of the Lord must have rested in the place, on Sunday! Wow! Thank you so much! May the Lord bless you, richly!
O Lord, our Lord
How majestic is your name in all the earth!
You have set your glory above the heavens.
From the lips of children and infants
you have ordained praise. – Psalm 8 : 1-2
Thank you so much for joining us today, as we lift up the name of Jesus! The Scripture you shared lifts Jesus high! One of my favorites! May the Lord be glorified! May the Lord bless you, and I hope you’ll join us again next time!
Good morning, Paulette–God bless you, and all who worship here today, from His unending abundance! He is SO GOOD to us! Hope you enjoy the poem–love, sis Caddo
“A Handful of Rain”
A handful of rain—
Held carefully, lest one drop
Spill before reaching
Dry lips, parched heart, arid soul.
Rend the clouds, O Lord–Cleanse me.
A handful of tears—
Caught during hours of soul-storm.
Raised, in heart’s chalice,
To You, O Lord—sacrifice
Of silvered secrets revealed.
A handful of sweat—
Enough to soak grimed garments
I’ve worn a lifetime.
I’m spent, Lord: futile efforts
To do one right thing—Save me.
Your handful of rain—
You’ve rent the clouds, multiplied
Your mercies; and You
Lift my face with Hands of Grace—
Larger than my own, too small.

What a beautiful sacrifice unto the Lord! May God be glorified! Caddo, the Lord used you to speak to my heart today; a difficult day to navigate, but thankfully the Lord brought me through.
“Your handful of rain—
You’ve rent the clouds, multiplied
Your mercies; and You
Lift my face with Hands of Grace—
Larger than my own, too small.”
Thank you, thank you Lord! Thank you so much, Caddo for being an instrument in the Mater’s Hands! May the Lord bless you, abundantly!
Thank you, Paulette–I’m so pleased God would use my poem for you, as I still hesitate to put them anywhere but my own blog. Sorry you had a difficult day, Sister–mine is just a wee bit rocky too. I will lift you high in prayer, as I do each night when I pray for my beautiful blog family–such a treasured gift from God!
Thank you so much!
Thank you for another wonderful PRAISE & WORSHIP.
I LOVE THESE WORDS;
Lord I lift a song of worship
For Your glory and Your grace
Let my heart reveal all my words fail to say
Lord receive this sacrifice of praise
(repeat)
On the mountain in the valley
As I wait in my secret place
I will trust trust in the name of the Lord
Now receive this sacrifice of praise
Now receive this sacrifice of praise
You’re my shield You’re my shelter
From the storm and from the rain
Cover me beneath the shadow of Your wings
Lord receive this sacrifice of praise
Hallelujah hallelujah
Hallelujah to Your name
For all You’ve done
You are and evermore will be
Lord receive this sacrifice of praise

Praise the Lord! Oh, praise ye the Lord! I’m so glad you enjoyed the worship session, and the featured song for the session! The lyrics of the song are truly beautiful, and speak directly unto the Lord, as we sing them! Glory to God! Thanks so much for being here!
(Sorry Bishop, I didn’t see your comment until this morning, because I found it in my spam!)

May the Lord bless you, Francine! Yesterday was one of those days for me, and I shut down very early. I was encouraged by your comment, and happy to see that you had ended your day here with us, in the presence of the Lord!
Interesting thing about your post — I have been hearing about the trumpets in sermons, blogs, people ect. And here they are again. Lot’s of trumpet blowing in Revelations! Makes me wonder if Jesus will indeed return soon! Praising God!
God Bless You!
And that is very interesting, indeed… It just makes me think that all the more, we need to be ready when Jesus comes! “Be Ye Also Ready!” Glory to God! Thanks so much for being here, and for sharing your thoughts with us! May the Lord bless you, richly!

A praise report . . .my youngest had a seizure and fell in the bathroom. BUT she remained uninjured and unharmed in anyway. Where there should be bruising or blood or soreness . .. nothing. This has happened over and over again, His hand protecting her. Praising Jesus!
And here’s a little song offering . . .
Thank you so much, Encouraging Debbie!…Praising the Lord along with you! God is so good, and greatly to be praised! I thank the Lord, for protecting your youngest child from harm and danger! He is truly an ever-present help in trouble! God is an on time God, oh yes He is! I’m so glad that your daughter is okay! So glad! We’ve got so much to thank and praise God for! Thank you so much for sharing this praise report with us! May the Lord bless you abundantly, and keep you and your daughter in His loving care! Love and prayers!
(Sorry, premature posting of my comment occurred the first time it was sent to your e-mail inbox.)
I was unable to stop in and enjoy the worship with you sister yesterday. I am very much enshrouded with pain– a good old fibro-flare put the “ritis brothers” are visiting .
Anyway, I am taking a few moments now and I am being spiritually invigorated . All praise to our Gracious God and Lover of our souls. Thank you again for your faithful service to our Savior!
Stephanie
Stephanie, I’m so sorry that you are in a flare up! My heart goes out to you! Placing you before the Lord in prayer, and into His most capable hands! He’s the Great Physician, Jehovah Rapha, The Lord that healeth Thee! I pray that the Lord would touch your body right now! May He comfort you, strengthen you, and lift you up, as you lift the Savior high….I’m so glad that you were able to join us, in worship of our Savior, the “lover of our souls.” HE’S WORTHY! May the Lord bless you, in the name of Jesus! Amen!
Thank you for this post Paulette! I love this song!
“I exalt Thee, I exalt Thee, I exalt Thee, O Lord!” Lord, You deserve the glory! You deserve the praise! You are the ONLY true and living God! You are the only God worthy of our worship!… Welcome!
I’m so glad you joined us in this worship session! Thank you so much for sharing such a beautiful worship offering! There is nobody like Him! May the Lord bless you, abundantly! I hope you’ll join us again next time, as we lift up the Savior!

HE’S WORTHY!…Ann, you know that you are welcome to come to worship at any time!
I revisit the worship sessions often; using them as a catalyst to begin my private praise and worship sessions often times! The worship offerings are so, so good! They usher me into His presence! I’m hoping that your day is going well! Enjoy corporate worship in the morning!
