Jesus Christ, the Savior of the World

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Of God. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (JOHN 3:16 – 19)

Jesus is God incarnate. That means Jesus is God, robed in flesh. Jesus is totally God, and totally man. Why would a sinless God, who is perfect in all of His ways determine to put on something that He hates, sin? Let me digress. JOHN 1:1 says, In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God! Then skipping down to JOHN 1:14, which says, And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” God is the Word, and God is Jesus, robed in flesh. Now, back to the question of why a perfect and holy God would put on human flesh. Well, He did it, because He came into this world to die, that we might be saved, that we might receive salvation and preservation from destruction. There was none worthy to save us, and to cleanse us from our sins after the fall of Adam in the garden. Only God could do that. However, God could not die, so He had to take on human flesh to die upon Calvary’s Cross, that we might be saved! You must believe that Jesus is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. You must repent of your sins, and be born again of the water and of the spirit! When you repent, you turn away from sin, and you turn to Jesus! This is not about lipservice. It’s about changing your lifestyle. There must be a transformation which takes place on the inside, in our Crosses!hearts. It’s about denying the flesh, and taking up your cross to follow Jesus. It’s about reckoning yourself, or your flesh to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. We are not to continue in sin. That’s why Jesus left a very special gift for us, the precious gift of the Holy Spirit. We cannot defeat our flesh by our own efforts, no matter how sincere we may be. Trying to will away sin just isn’t going to work. We must be filled with the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is our Paraclete; our comforter, our intercessor, our advocate, Jesus Christ living within us. The Holy Spirit will lead us and guide us into all truth and righteousness. If you haven’t already done so, come to Jesus right now. If you are feeling ashamed, or “too dirty” to come to Jesus, I beg to differ. You see, we have ALL sinned and come short of the glory of God, and all of our unrighteousness is sin, period. Don’t worry about getting dressed up in your finest apparel. Simply come as you are. Jesus is the author and the finisher of your faith! “What can wash away my sins, nothing but the blood of Jesus. What can make me whole again? Nothing but the blood of Jesus! Oh precious is that flow, that makes me white as snow; no other fount I know. Nothing but the blood of Jesus!” Jesus loves you so much! He loves you unconditionally! For when we were yet without Christ, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commended his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. (ROMANS 5:6-8) If you have been freed from the yoke of bondage, and you are walking in newness of life, share your testimony with others. Tell everybody about somebody, who can save anybody! To the utmost, Jesus saves! May God bless you abundantly, today and every day!

  1. Very powerful words Minister Paulette! This is truly a getting back to basics moment. This is a moment to reflect and examine oneself. This is a moment to shed baggage and embrace Christ and allow him to take over our lives completely.

Thank you very much for sharing the Word of truth. God bless you.

    • Thank you, Noel! I enjoyed your comment! Yes, it is a cry to the unsaved, but as you so eloquently put it, it is also a moment to reflect and examine ourselves! Daily self-examination is absolutely necessary! Thank you so much for adding your thoughts here today! What a blessing! May the Lord bless you, and make His face to shine upon you!

    • Thanks so much Pastor J! Your comment is much appreciated! I’ve been impressed with what I’ve seen going on at C.cada. The Lord is truly blessing! That’s wonderful! May the Lord continue to bless you! :-)

  2. God bless you, Minister Paulette :-)

  3. Paulette, I love that you reminded folks they don’t need to “dress up first” to come to Jesus–that’s so important, and lots of people get tripped up about that. God bless you today, Sister! I’m working on my poem for tomorrow–can’t wait for Wednesday Praise and Worship!! love, Caddo

    • Hello Caddo,

Thanks so much for stopping by today! When reading your comment, I thought of a brief conversation I had with a neighbor a while back. I was sharing a testimony with him, and I invited him to church. At that time, he was suffering from alcoholism. Basically, his response was that he had to clean himself up first …”and lots of people get tripped up about that.” So, so true! Whosoever will, let him come! It’s up to the body of Christ, to receive the unsaved with open arms, as well as wide open hearts! My heart is fixed on praise and worship, as well! :-) Thank you Caddo! God bless you too! :-)

      • Paulette, I LOVE the “Whosoever”! That’s something Joyce Meyer says over and over in her messages–and I’m a really big fan of hers, as God used her Powerfully during that miraculous Easter week last year when He revealed Himself fully to me. I still find that I’m less resistant to “hard” messages, when He uses Joyce’s voice!! But I could go on for pages–and this is Your Blog! See you tomorrow–hope you’ll like the poem God gave me.

        • What a beautiful blessing it is to experience the illuminating power of the unadulterated Word of God in our lives! Congratulations on your Easter “anniversary” celebration! God is so good! I certainly would not have minded if you had gone on a bit more. I was enjoying what I was reading. :-) Joyce Meyer is definitely an outstanding teacher!—I’m positive the poem will be a tremendous blessing not only to me, but to everyone who will read it! Love, Paulette

  4. Great post sis and again thank you for coming to the Prayer Conference. When it comes to coming to Jesus we can’t come to Him on our own anyway. We are led by the Holy Spirit. We can’t fix ourselves up so why bother just come as you are. Often time we hear this message but we fall because when the people come into the churches they are looked upon as not being welcome…Something we gotta change if we are to expect them to come in…

    • Hello Minister Desiray,

I was very glad to have been a part of the Prayer Conference! Thank you! It truly was a blessing! God was in the midst of us!

Thank you so much for adding a very valid point here! “Often time we hear this message but we fall because when the people come into the churches they are looked upon as not being welcome…Something we gotta change if we are to expect them to come in…” Amen, and amen! God bless you!

  5. If i could clik on “like” 50 times I would…truth that reveals Jesus to his highest office that of Lord God is truth indeed… Sister Paulett…Halelujah….

  6. Thank God for our great merciful Saviour Jesus Christ, who went all the way doing exactly what God required to secure our souls! Wonderful reminders Paulette of God’s unconditional love, and how we need to shower others in love and mercy, that they to will come to Jesus.
Love you and I hope you feel better soon :D

    • Oh yes, our God is a God of mercy, a God of compassion, and a God of love! Praise God! May we allow our lights to shine before men, that they might see our good works and glorify the Father in heaven!!!

Love you back! Thank God, I am feeling some better! Thank you Pat! :-)

  7. No watering down here! You nailed it. It is NOT just “praying a prayer”. While we are saved by grace and can offer NOTHING to God to pay for our salvation – not even our lives – when we accept His Gift, we are CHANGED. When we become His followers, we count ourselves as DEAD – as no longer having the right to run our own lives. We have been bought with a price.

To an unbeliever, this might sound a dismal sort of life, a killjoy life – but to us who know the abundance of blessings of being a child of the living God, there can be no doubt. We have an abundant life! We have Everything!

    What an amazing God!

    • Hi Angela,

You have added so much wisdom here! Thank you very much! “To an unbeliever, this might sound a dismal sort of life, a killjoy life – but to us who know the abundance of blessings of being a child of the living God, there can be no doubt. We have an abundant life! We have Everything!” Amen, and amen!!! God bless!

      • Hello Jomer,

I’m so glad you stopped by! God bless you! I’m so glad to know that you love the Lord, because I love Him too! He is my everything! I hope you’ll stop by again soon. May the Lord bless you and keep you!

        Paulette
